Mall of America and Coaster Cafe - Thank you for your partnership. 😊

Hi Coaster Café Team,

We stopped by Coaster Café during our visit to Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America and had to drop a quick note to say thank you!

I grabbed a cup of iced coffee made with Cabin Life Coffee from Midwest Roasters in Hayward, Wisconsin, and it was absolutely delicious.

As someone who loves great coffee, we truly appreciate your partnership. It makes taking a break in the middle of the park extra special.

Thanks for serving such a quality brew and for highlighting great regional crafts. I’ll definitely be back for another cup on my next visit!

Best regards,
Teresa and Rod

Welcome to the Hayward area, Nick and Lidia!

It is so exciting to have you both joining the community, and a huge congratulations to Nick on his new role at the Lumber Exchange.

Hayward is such a special place, and taking this next step with the team at the Lumber Exchange is a fantastic milestone. Wishing Nick all the best in his new position, and wishing both of you a smooth transition as you settle in, explore the area, and make yourselves right at home.

Cheers to new beginnings and a wonderful next chapter in the Northwoods!

Nick Garcia came to Hayward to help build The Lumber Exchange and found a place to call home. Now he’s joining our team as Coffee and Operations Director!

As our construction superintendent, Nick brought incredible attention to detail and brought out the best in the people around him. His positivity was contagious, even on the most demanding days. You’ve probably seen his huge smile around town. We were lucky enough to see it on the job site every day.

Nick grew up in Honduras and built his career leading construction projects across the United States. Now he and his wife, Lidia, are making their home in Hayward, and he has something special to share with his new hometown: extraordinary coffee grown by friends back in Honduras.

Our espresso bar will open in early November, with Nick bringing the same care to your coffee experience that he brought to this building.

He’s building a future here, in the very place he helped bring to life. We’re so happy he’s staying. ☕

Thank you so much to Sweet Exchange Market for partnering with us on this fun private label project! Your label design concepts were very creative and fun to work with! We are just as sure as you are, that your customers will love what is inside! 😋

Midwest Roasters in Hayward created a Sweet Exchange Market private label using two of their top-selling coffees — and obviously we had to do a little taste testing first. 😉 WE APPROVED!

And how cute are these Cable mugs from Earth Art?! The artwork comes from a talented artist originally from Duluth, bringing a little extra Northwoods connection to each design.

Pretty sure coffee just tastes better in a Cable mug. ☕️❤️
