I have some cool and exciting news to share. Engine Q BBQ today completed its very first customer order, be it a small order it was still a lot of fun and exciting to get over that hump. I can take small requests for now but still a few weeks away from acquiring my new, bigger smoker that I’ve locked in on. Thank you Kai-Lee Wells for trusting me and I hope we delivered just what you wanted.

Friends I can promise you one thing right now, there’s not a drop of any kind of sauce on that St. Louis style rack of ribs. There’s only one way to perfect that cherry color to ribs without a sauce, and it’s years of practice. 👀

Engine Q BBQ is still eying a soft grand opening hopefully next week. I’ve been real busy lately with my work at the FD and Fire Commission. I’m lucky to have two jobs I absolutely love, and my third will receive just as much passion. I just have some things I have to take care of in the fire world first. I’ll see everyone real soon!

The plan is to have a local pop up soon and sell classic BBQ foods just to get the name out there and get over the first day hump, nothing too special just good, simple, quality food. But for future reference what are some foods you guys like to see on food truck/BBQ truck?
