One of the things Brandon asked me to do when he got sick was to give back to the community and help kids out seeking an education in agriculture. With that being something he wanted, we created the Brandon and Greg Martin Legacy Scholarship Fund. Last year along with organizing help of Terry Temperly( Long time friend of Brandon’s) , Eric Heisner (Belmont Ag teacher), and Joseph Lyne( Shullsburg Ag Teacher) they put together the Coaches vs Cancer event during the Belmont vs Shullsburg basketball game raising over $2,000 to get the fund started. They are doing it again this year in Belmont on January 6th.
Belmont FFA alumni will be hosting a steak dinner that night along with a silent auction. Also, at half time the will be doing a Mad Minute of passing a bucket around for donations.
Please share and come out and support this event to help us raise funds for the scholarship fund!

Please mark your calendars! This is the second year we are doing Coaches vs Cancer as Shullsburg hosted year one. It is our turn to host this year.

There will also be HS Wrestling in the Elementary Gym on the same night as BP Wrestling has a dual against Mineral Point on the same night!
