Sometimes you find things that just work.. I must have double digits of assorted brushes and combs to keep the dogs/cats coats in order. I have found the retractable brushes are much easier and really get to the undercoat.

Then there’s bathing… this gadget is great.. gets down to the skin , smells great , no soap residue! Now if only I could get Leo to not roll afterwards!!

Fairy reins

Just a story I heard.

BRUSH out your horse’s Fairy Reins. Don’t ever cut them out.

As the story goes, when a child dies, it makes all the angels in Heaven cry, and their tears make it too hard to see, to bring that child to Heaven.

So the fairies rush to help. But the fairies are so small, that they can’t make it all the way to Heaven on their own.

So they braid a rein into a horse’s mane and borrow the horse in the dark of night to get the child up to Heaven.

When you cut out a Fairy Rein, or roach a horse’s mane, they can’t borrow your horse.
