There’s something special about gathering in the vineyard this time of year. 🍂🍷

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday for our October W**e Club Party! We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful fall afternoon, with sunshine overhead, delicious food, our fall selection of w**es flowing, and the vineyard just beginning to show its autumn colors.

As a small, family-owned w**ery, these gatherings mean so much to us. Every bottle we share is a reflection of the land we care for, the organic farming practices we believe in, and the time and attention that go into growing and making our w**es. Being able to share the fruits of that work with the people who support us is what makes it all worthwhile.

From our family to yours, thank you for being part of the Martorana community, for supporting small family w**eries, and for celebrating another beautiful season in Sonoma County with us.

Sometimes a walk through the vineyard comes with a little history. 🍇

Gio recently welcomed Mark, owner of Alice’s Market at Palisades Tahoe, out to the vineyard for a taste of Merlot straight from the vine.

There’s a connection here that goes back years. Mark’s wife, Joy, worked alongside Amigo Bob Cantisano, our longtime organic farming advisor and an important part of Martorana’s farming story.

We’ve been farming our Dry Creek Valley vineyards organically since 2003, and moments like this are a reminder that w**e is about more than what ends up in the bottle. It’s about the land, the people you meet along the way, and the relationships that continue from one vintage to the next.

And yes, tasting Merlot straight from the vine is a pretty good way to spend an afternoon in Dry Creek Valley. 🍷

There’s something especially satisfying about seeing these deep, dark clusters come off the vine after a full season of growing in Dry Creek Valley.

At Martorana, we’ve farmed our vineyards organically since 2003, which means the work behind harvest starts long before picking day. It’s in the soil, the cover crops, the compost, the vineyard walks, and all the small decisions made throughout the growing season.

By the time Cabernet is ready to pick, months of work have already gone into every cluster.

And then, finally, you get a day like this.
