🥦🥕Winter CSA Subscriptions are now open on the website! Follow the link in our bio for either a whole share (12 weeks) or a half share (7 weeks) of local, seasonal, and organic fruits and veggies. Pick up at the Farm Store and you’ll also find wine, bread, eggs, and cats (cats not for sale though; strictly for lap warming and cuddling)! What could be better?!

We always appreciate the deep connections made with our CSA members and in turn, appreciate their direct commitment to supporting our farm. Knowing your farmer, the land where your food is grown, and being able to come out and visit your Brussels sprouts before they are harvested is an invaluable experience and one that means more now than ever. Committing your food dollars locally has a big impact on your community and we take your investment seriously.

We also love growing winter vegetables and are excited to share them with you, especially after the farmers market season ends. We’re looking forward to all the citrus (lemons, limes, oranges, satsumas, and clementines), leafy greens (kale, chard, lettuce), broccolini, cauliflower, carrots, cabbage, leeks, and later green garlic, Fava beans, radishes, lettuce, and more! Eating well this winter never looked and tasted so good!

Harvest 2025 IS HERE 🥂
And what a year it is… Preston Farm and Winery is celebrating our 50th harvest!!

Lou and Susan Preston purchased our property of old sprawling vines, prunes, and a lonely pear orchard in 1973. They then began their stewardship in the heart of West Dry Creek Valley.

Yesterday, we all gathered to bless our first grapes of 2025 and reflected on the years past. We all listened with open ears to the stories about the days of old, and exactly how and where the place we now call "home" came to be.

Lou’s first harvest on the property was prunes, which then began the tales of the long-lost days of prohibition and bootleggers of sorts — one of which operated on our property many years ago! He then decided it was time for wine!!

Our first harvest in 1975 was from an old block of Zinfandel made from an old dairy tank in what is now our workshop — then began the Preston history and where the story began. Over the years, Lou and Susan developed a passion for the land, and our portfolio expanded from not only grapes, but a vast multitude of different crops and orchards. We are now known as one of the most diverse organic properties in all of Dry Creek Valley.

Our Winemaker, Grayson Hartley, spoke yesterday of the way we are limitless to borders — what a moving statement!
"Wine is the key ingredient to connecting people to a place where we are together and love one another with what we share." – GH

We invite you to share our joy of the last 50 years. Please come and sit with us, envelope yourself in our love for place, community, wine, and especially the land where our passion runs as deep as the roots of our vines.

Cheers to 50 years 🥂
