It is with deep love and sadness that we share the passing of Peter Smiderle (March 24, 1951 – August 17, 2025).

Peter lived a full and beautiful life rooted in family, faith, and the vineyard he poured his heart into. He will always be remembered for his warm smile, generous spirit, and the way he made everyone feel welcome. His legacy will forever be woven into the land, the wines, and the traditions he so proudly carried forward.

We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating his life:

🙏 Rosary — Friday, September 19 at 6:00 PM | St. John’s Healdsburg
🕊️ Memorial Service — Saturday, September 20 at 10:00 AM | St. John’s Healdsburg

This *EXTREMELY LIMITED* bottling is now available at the winery and it is delicious. The mountain fruit from the Spring Mountain AVA is bright and full of red fruit flavors shining through. With great acidity, this is the perfect wine for all of your holiday feasts. 🦃🎄

We make our wines in a way that expresses the unique terroir of our estate in Dry Creek Valley.

Our Sauvignon Blanc is made in the French style with our grapes that are grown with the Musqué clone giving it a softer and rounder mouthfeel.
