A new chapter in the vineyard. 🍇 We’re grafting Assyrtiko, one of Greece’s most iconic white varieties, onto some of our established rootstock here at Merriam.

Originally from Santorini, Assyrtiko is celebrated for its bright acidity, striking minerality, and vibrant citrus notes.
The graft begins to heal within a few weeks, though patience is required, as it can take a couple of years for the vine to reach full production.

A thoughtful process rooted in tradition, and one we’re excited to watch grow. ✨

Pups of the Month is officially here🐾

When you visit the estate, make sure your pup gets their moment. An team member will snap a polaroid, pin it to our board, and you’ll fill out a quick entry form while you’re here. Just be sure you’re following the instagram to qualify.

Each month, we’ll randomly select a winner and share the announcement on Instagram the first Friday of the following month. The lucky pup (and their humans) will receive:

•four complimentary Single Vineyard tastings
•a special treat to take home

We can’t wait to meet your four-legged companions!

We love having bees around the estate, though every once in a while they decide to build their homes in less-than-ideal spots. 🐝 With the help of a local bee specialist, this hive was safely relocated to a better place where they can thrive undisturbed.
