In 1886, Edoardo Seghesio left his family’s vineyards in Piedmont, Italy, and made his way to Sonoma County. He planted vines, built a life, and started something that would outlast him by more than a century. October is Italian-American Heritage Month, and the story of how an Italian immigrant’s love of w**e and food became part of the fabric of Northern Sonoma County is one worth telling over and over again. 🍷🇮🇹
