Bacigalupi Vineyards Growers of exceptional Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah in the Russian River Valle

The Bacigalupi's have been growing grapes in Russian River Valley since 1956. These grapes have gone into some A-list wines, including most notably chardonnay for Chateau Montelena‘s winning entry in the famed 1973 Paris Tasting. Combining excellent quality grapes with Ashley Herzberg's unique wine making techniques we are proud to continue three generations of grape growing tradition. Our boutique, family operated tasting room offers tastings daily. Our Summer hours are March- October 11:00 am-5:00 pm and Winter hours are November - February 10:30 am- 4:30 pm.

The little red truck that helped make w**e history. 🍇🍷

John and Pam Bacigalupi stand beside the original VW truck that carried Bacigalupi Chardonnay grapes over the Mayacamas Mountains to Chateau Montelena—grapes that became part of the Chardonnay that took top honors at the legendary 1976 Paris Tasting.

Nearly 50 years later, this truck is more than a piece of vineyard equipment. It’s a reminder of where we came from: hardworking farmers, exceptional vineyards, and a moment that forever changed the way the world viewed California w**e.

What a special evening celebrating Sonoma Leaders & Legacy at the CIA at Copia! 🍷

We were honored to share the table with Hanzell Vineyards for an evening celebrating the history, people, and w**es that have helped shape Sonoma County. A heartfelt thank you to Andrea Robinson, MS, for hosting such a thoughtful conversation, and to Christopher Sawyer for bringing his incredible w**e knowledge and energy to the evening.

For our family, it was especially meaningful to share Bacigalupi’s story and library w**es as we celebrate our 70th harvest this year. Seven decades of farming has given us plenty of stories to tell—and some pretty special bottles to open!

Thank you to everyone who joined us, tasted alongside us, and continues to support the small, family-owned w**eries that make Sonoma County such an extraordinary w**e community. ❤️🍇
