Well, its that time of year again. I just completed my annual baking of our Schnecken bread and is available in very limited quantities on our website. www.lambrechtgourmet.com

This German "Snail Bread" (German meaning of Schnecken) is loaded with almost 3/4 pounds of butter, sugar, cinnamon and raisins. While baking, it creates its own caramel that covers the top when inverted. It only takes a few seconds in a microwave to bring that buttery caramel to life.

I only make Schnecken once a year so buy it while you can.

Our first time at the Jr. League of Jackson Holiday show. The volunteers are the best and the customers have been SO nice. Business has been great so far. Come down to the Convention Center and do all your Christmas shopping. We are in booth 502!

Just dropped off a huge Toffee order at the beautiful Oak Alley Plantation. Our largest account in Louisiana. Now On to New Orleans. Oak Alley has a beautiful gift shop and restaurant as well.

It's almost the end of our season and we have a limited number of our semi-famous Schnecken available. If you aren't familiar, it is a German bread made with a whole lot of butter, sugar, and cinnamon rolled and baked until the butter and sugar makes a caramel sauce that covers the bread when flipped out of the pan. Well, the crazy season is winding down, but Lambrecht has a Christmas surprise! This year, we made extra loaves of our Schnecken bread to sell. This is our recreation of the famous Virginia Bakery (IYKYK) schnecken. Loaded to the brim with pure butter, cinnamon and sugar that creates a delicious caramel when flipped from the pan.
