8. SALE PENDING. Blondie Bartender JW (AQHA 6499737)
Whiskey Up Aspen JW x Jacks Our Bartender

Born 5-13-26 Some years we do a fun theme for names. This year for Top Gun Whiskey we are continuing with Top Gun Call Signs from the original 1986 movie and the 2022 movie. Our other stallions will have the names of Rock Bands from the 70s, 80s and 90s. This filly is name Blondie. Blondie is an American new wave band formed in 1974 They were a pioneer in the new wave genre and scene in the mid 1970s. Blondie was known for their hit singles, including "Heart of Glass”, “Call Me” and “One Way or Another”.

‘Blondie’ is a palomino mare with a star, strip and snip. She also has both rear white ankles and both front white pasterns higher in the back. Her mama, Whiskey Up Aspen JW, is another mare we raised from some of our original Grantier Quarter Horse Mujer Tacky Jay bloodlines. Aspen’s dam, Lily Dancer Drift JW aka DD previously sold, was a big stout palomino mare. She was by the original Mujer Tacky Jay daughter, Mujer Lily Dancer JW aka Lily who consistently produced us BIG and STOUT foals. Lily was 84% NFQHA and was purchased from Grantier Quarter Horses as a weanling. Mujer Tacky Jay, now deceased, made a name for himself producing using horses for the family, ranch, arena and youth. There are a lot of great horses in Lily’s pedigree from Jet Deck and Leo Tag just off her papers to other greats Three Bars, Poco Bueno and old time horses like Old Sorrel. Lily also fantastically went back to King 9 times! We really believe in these well established horse families and in Lily’s mare line as she was so closely bred to many of our great saddle horses. DD was by Walter O Rielly aka Radar. Radar made some really nice big horses over the many years we owned him. We have kept several of his daughters back to cross with some of our more moderate sized stallions. DD was one of those crosses. We bred her to Whoop Up Whiskey and got Whiskey Up Aspen JW. This young mare has a long history in our program and we are very excited she is a part of the new generation to continue on some of the older bloodlines. Her first foal 2024 Triton Bartender JW was buckskin roan stallion that sold to SD. Her 2025 bay roan c**t, Fangorn Bartender JW sold to a family in ND.

Blondie’s sire is Jacks Our Bartender. Jacks Our Bartender is a son of Bartenders Memory by Two ID Bartender and out of a granddaughter of Two Eyed Jack, Watch Miss Jo Jackie, born in 2003. Unfortunately, due to a stifle injury from being kicked by a mare, Jack was not able to stay sound enough to enter the show ring but was able to prove his athletic ability. Since then several of his c**ts have ended up in the roping arena and continue to prove their athleticism and great minds. By 2015 Hockenson’s realized that he was producing some really great roping horses and decided to see if they could keep his stifle sound enough to show and sure enough in a very short time, he quickly earned 5.5 AQHA Heading Points of his own proving that his offspring accomplishments were not by chance. He is a great horse to be around and out produces himself every time. Jack has 3 AQHA performing offspring. Many of his other foals have gone on to be great rodeo horses or rope horses competing and earning money in different associations. We bought Jack with one idea to be to put him on our Paddys Irish Whiskey daughters and granddaughters. He has the moves that they do but in a bigger horse package.

Blondie should size up on the larger side and have the ability to be a rope or ranch horse prospect. Since her sire is roan and roan can be hard to detect on a palomino horse, we will test for the 1 copy of roan.

22. FOR SALE Beatles Bartender JW (AQHA 6500790)
Paddys Gin Llano JW x Jacks Our Bartender

Born 5-26-26 Some years we do a fun theme for names. This year for Top Gun Whiskey we are continuing with Top Gun Call Signs from the original 1986 movie and the 2022 movie. Our other stallions will have the names of Rock Bands from the 70s, 80s and 90s. This stallion is named Beatles. The Beatles, started in 1960, were an English rock band from Liverpool, consisting of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, widely regarded as the most influential band in popular music. They permanently changed the global music landscape when they first arrive in the USA on February 7, 1964. Some of their most famous songs were “Come Together”, “Let It Be”, “Hey Jude” and “I Want to Hold Your Hand” and many more.

‘Beatles’ is a bay stallion with a star and no white on legs. His dam, Paddys Gin Llano JW aka Llano pronounced L-A-N-O is a mare we raised out of another Grantier Quarter Horse program mare Dry Biscuit Mujer JW aka Biscuit. Biscuit is multiple generations of Grantier’s breeding program. On her damside, Kingsburys Buck was often referred to as Larry Grantier’s best mare at that time. Maternal grandsire was Mujer Tacky Jay who sired too many ranch, family, 4-H, performance horses to count in his breeding career. The Zans Banjoe lines were also cornerstone in their program. Last but not least is her sire Dry Pages who as a 1995 stallion had also sired more than his share of excellent using horses. We are very proud to have this Dry Pages daughter in our program. She is still producing for us and her foals are quickly becoming some of the first ones to sell. Llano is by our original Paddy’s stallion, TRR Paddys Texas Gin. Tex puts very thick and muscular foals on the ground with very nice muscle expression on them as well as a lot of athleticism and as they develop, they have a lot of vigor. They have all been started under saddle by various buyers and the majority of people love them and come back over and over as repeat buyers. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile—Tanquery Gin, Doc O’Lena, Docs Starlight, Poco Tivio, Peppy San Badger. Llano’s first foal in 2024, Magnetar Drift JW, by Walter O Rielly aka Radar, has been sold to neighbors who ranch on several of the Radar offspring. Her 2025 bay roan stallion, Boromir Bartender JW, sold to family in KS.

Beatles’s sire is Jacks Our Bartender.

Beatles is a very nicely bred foal. We would expect him to make an excellent ranch horse or possible rope horse prospect with an excellent disposition. His 2025 full brother had an excellent disposition that we felt would have fit great with a youth. This family of horses does not disappoint. Beatles’s dam is a GBED carrier, so he will be tested.

25. SALE PENDING America Bartender JW (AQHA 6499375)
Whiskey Up Roan JW x Jacks Our Bartender

Born 6-3-26 Some years we do a fun theme for names. This year for Top Gun Whiskey we are continuing with Top Gun Call Signs from the original 1986 movie and the 2022 movie. Our other stallions will have the names of Rock Bands from the 70s, 80s and 90s. This filly is named America. America is a perennial classic-rock favorite who formed in 1970 while serving amidst the excess, craziness and chaos of the 70’s. Some of their best-known tunes include “A Horse with No Name” “Sister Golden Hair” “Tin Man” “I Need You” “Ventura Highway” “Lonely People” “Muskrat Love” “Don’t Cross The River” and so many other nostalgic 70s songs.

‘America’ is a chestnut filly with an irregular medium star and a large snip on his face. Both of her rear feet have high white stockings. Her left front pastern is white and her right front has little to no white on it. Her mama, Whiskey Up Roan JW aka Fin, is a mare we raised out of one of our senior mares, Fancy Roan Belle aka Roany. Fancy Roan Belle was an awesome, proven 87% NFQHA proven mare who is a very integral part of our program. Let’s look at the mare’s pedigree deep in Reeves breeding from South Dakota--Fancy Roan Bar, Roan Bar, Bell Boy Bar, Tom Baker, Bar Nothing Springer and Bartender. You cannot ask for a better foundation, ranch, cow, or arena bloodline. This mare puts a very nice disposition on her foals. Fin was her 14th foal and she had one more before being retired in 2018. In addition to Fin, we have two other daughters of Roany, Docs Fancy Roan and Peponita Roan Bar JW sadly passed away this year during foaling. Whiskey Up Roan JW’s sire is our own Whoop Up Whiskey. ‘Whoop’ is a 2010 son of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of a great John Scott mare, My Little Sugar Babe. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile, Whoop’s dam goes to Doc O Dynamite who also stood at the John Scott Ranch. Doc O Dynamite was an Equi-State leading cutting sire from 1999-2005 who produced money earners and according to his performance record, his daughters have produced many money earning foals in AQHA, NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA. Doc O Dynamite has a pedigree that traces back to Three Bars giving a bit more stretch and speed to his offspring and shows up on the pedigree of many arena and speed event horses. Whoop brings that little more height and length and speed to our program. He has excellent bone, athleticism and conformation. His lineage tells us that his offspring will have cow and will be capable of performing at any level and we are hearing great things about his offspring. Fin’s first foal, Khan Bartender JW, ended up in Kansas. Her 2021 foal, Cypress Bartender JW, went to MT. She had another full sibling in 2022, Orca Bartender JW, that went with a repeat buyer in VA. Her 2023 filly was, Larimar Bartender JW, and her 2024 foal stallion was, Condor Bartender JW We have retained Larimar and Condor for ourselves as breeding prospects. This cross is producing exceptional foals. Condor is 7 panel NN and Homozygous Roan and Homozygous for black legs. He will be a potential replacement for sire, Jack. He is dark bay roan and will always produce bay roan offspring and a 50% chance of buckskin roan on cream dilute mares. Her 2025 red roan stallion, Gimli Bartender JW, sold and stayed in ND.

America’s sire is Jacks Our Bartender. Since then, several of his c**ts have ended up in the roping arena and continue to prove their athleticism and great minds. We bought Jack with the idea to put him on our Paddys Irish Whiskey daughters and granddaughters. He has the moves that they do but in a bigger horse package.

America is FLASHY! Those high rear whites are a classic Whoop through America’s dam, Fin. As stated above and worth repeating… We have retained the full brother, Condor Bartender JW, as a stallion prospects and he is checking all the boxes so far with his disposition, homozygous roan, no white, 7NN and he is doing well in training. We also retained 2023 Larimar Bartender JW for our program and she was started under saddle as well. America will be a fantastic proven cross for someone. With both Jack’s proven offspring and Fin’s proven pedigree, she should be able to really shine whether it is in the arena, breeding barn or show pen! She is genetic 7 panel N/N .

28. FOR SALE Top Gun Jester JW (AQHA PENDING)
HQ Gotta Have Guns x Top Gun Whiskey

Born 6-17-26. Some years we do a fun theme for names. This year for Top Gun Whiskey we are continuing with Top Gun Call Signs from the original 1986 movie and the 2022 movie. Our other stallions will have the names of Rock Bands from the 70s, 80s and 90s. This stallion is named Jester one of the senior instructors alongside Mike “Viper” Metcalf. He trains the young pilots, including Pete “Maverick” Mitchell and Nick “Goose” Bradshaw.

‘Jester’ is a dun stallion and we will color test to verify. He has a large star, snip, right rear ankle, left rear pastern and right front low pastern. Jester’s dam is HQ Gotta Have Guns aka “Wynona” a dunskin mare we purchased from Hockenson Quarter Horses. She is the 6th filly we have purchased from them and the first CT Show Me Your Guns daughter to add to our program. CT Show Me Your Guns is a 2021 World Champion Senior Header. He is still owned by Hockenson Quarter Horses. He was started as a cow horse and then had some reining training put on him, but he finally ended up in the roping pen where he has excelled. He is an AQHA World Champion, multiple AQHA World Show Super Horse Contender and a multiple AQHA World Show Top Ten. He earned Superior Heading and Superior Heeling. He is also an Open AQHA Champion and has AQHA Halter R.O.M. He is the sire of a World Champion, Reserve World Champion and AQHA Champion. Wynona’s dam is Wilma Gotta Gun. “Wilma” is by NRHA 2 Million Dollar Sire, Spooks Gotta Gun and out of Ifwhizsweredollars. She is a full sister to Ifwhizswereguns, who earned $122K NRHA. She is the dam of HQ Wilma Gotta Kitty by Meteles Cat, earner of over $26,000 NRCHA and was NRCHA Celebration of Champions L1 Limited Open Reserve Champion. She is also the dam of Wynona’s 2019 full sister HQ Girl Totin Guns who placed 7th in the Select Heading at the 2025 AQHA World Show. Another full brother to Wynona currently showing is 2021 HQ Show Me The Spook who was the 2025 AQHA Open Junior All-Around Champion. Wynona plays very well into our program with her pedigree full of Playgun, Topsail Whiz, Grays Starlight (full brother to Paddys Irish Whiskey) and Pitzer Breeding, all of which we love and focus on. This is her first foal and we are so excited about this cross!

His sire, Top Gun Whiskey, is one of four Paddys Irish Whiskey sons that we own. This is his 8th foal crop. We decided to give Top Gun a shot at the show ring before breeding him. In 2016 he qualified for the AQHA World Show in Jr Reining, Jr Reining Level 2 and Jr Cowhorse Level 2; in 2017 he qualified for the AQHA World Show in Jr Cowhorse, Jr Cowhorse Level 2 and Open Heading Level 2 placing 6th. It has been an interesting ride as he continued to show during the 2018 year as well as breed some of our mares for 2019 foals. Top Gun qualified for the 2018 World NRCHA show, was 2018 North Central Regional NRCHA Champion and has earned 47 AQHA performance points in reining, working cow horse, heading, vrh cutting, vrh confirmation, vrh reining and heeling. He also has his AQHA Open Performance ROM. Top Gun was injured during 2019 breeding season that cut his showing career short, but he still qualified for NRCHA Celebration of Champions in LTD Open Bridle. He was North Central Region NRCHA 4th place LTD Open Bridle and North Central Region NRCHA 9th place Open Bridle. Check out his stallion page for the most up to date information as we will change it as it happens.

Jester will have all the right moves and ‘cowiness’ to make an excellent performance or rope horse. This is the first foal and first cross, but based on both his dam and sire pedigrees, he should be able to excel in the rope horse world.

21. SALE PENDING Paddys Gin Kiss JW (AQHA 6499738)
HQ Ima Fanchy Bee x TRR Paddys Texas Gin

Born 5-24-26 Some years we do a fun theme for names. This year for Top Gun Whiskey we are continuing with Top Gun Call Signs from the original 1986 movie and the 2022 movie. Our other stallions will have the names of Rock Bands from the 70s, 80s and 90s. This stallion is named Kiss. Kiss, an American rock band, was one of the most influential and best-selling rock groups from the 1970s through the early 2000s, known in particular for its theatrical live performances, involving pyrotechnics and other shocking visual effects and including extravagant outfits and makeup. Kiss was formed in 1973. By 2023, as the band was nearing the conclusion of its final tour—known as the End of the Road World Tour—the group had released dozens of albums, with more than 100 million copies sold worldwide. Some of their most famous songs are “Heaven’s On Fire” “Tears Are Falling” and “Rock & Roll All Nite”.

‘Kiss’ is a palomino stallion with a star and both rear pasterns are white and higher in the back. His dam, HQ Ima Fanchy Bee, is a beautiful 2015 palomino roan mare with just a star that we bought in 2016 from Hockenson Quarter Horses in Iowa. We were specifically shopping for young replacement fillies with the Two Eyed Jack/Pitzer bloodlines to pair up with any of our Paddys Irish Whiskey sons as some of our older mares with those lines have already niched very well with our Paddys stallions. The Jackie Bee on Fanchy’s topside is a new line to our program and we are excited to see how that plays out. The rest of her pedigree with Two Eyed Jack, Mr Baron Red, Watch Joe Jack and Two Eyed Red Buck speaks for itself. An exciting thing for us is her bottom bottom goes back to Eternal Sun and Poco Pine and we have those lines in some of our other mares. Her 2019 foal, Whiskey Up Yao JW, went to SD . Her 2021 foal, Whiskey Up Orchid JW, stayed in ND. Her 2022 filly, Whiskey Up Kelp JW, went to be with a repeat buyer. Her 2023 foal, Whiskey Up Garnet JW is sold. We swapped Fanchy to Tex for 2024 and she had a palomino roan filly, Paddys Gin Sun JW, that is unfortunately deceased and due to a cold wet May snow event we also lost her 2025 foal.

His sire was TRR Paddys Texas Gin aka Tex. This is Tex’s 18th foal crop. He puts very thick and muscular foals on the ground with very nice muscle expression on them as well as a lot of athleticism and as they develop, they have a lot of vigor. The oldest ones have been started under saddle by various buyers and we are hearing good things from all of them. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile—Tanquery Gin, Doc O’Lena, Docs Starlight, Poco Tivio, Peppy San Badger. His daughters, when bred to current barrel stallions are producing 1D and 2D barrel horses with other owners.

Kiss should be a nice all-around prospect with a lot of style. He will have athletic ability with a nice disposition to perform in or out of the arena. We would expect him to mature out to 14.2-14.3 hands. His siblings have all started really well under saddle and are kind individuals. Tex is his sire so he could be 50/50 HERDA carrier so Kiss will be tested.

16. SALE PENDING Paddys Gin Toto JW (AQHA 6494220)
Lethas Lena x TRR Paddys Texas Gin

Born 5-18-26 Some years we do a fun theme for names. This year for Top Gun Whiskey we are continuing with Top Gun Call Signs from the original 1986 movie and the 2022 movie. Our other stallions will have the names of Rock Bands from the 70s, 80s and 90s. This foal is named Toto. Toto is an American rock band formed in 1977, known for blending rock, pop, soul, funk, R&B, blues, and jazz, with hits like "Africa" and "Hold the Line”.

‘Toto’ is a bay filly with a few white hairs on her forehead. Her dam is Lethas Lena aka Lena. She is a sweet well-built stocky bay mare. Lena’s sire is Lethal Playgun owned by GBL Farms. He has a black type pedigree inclusive of multiple maternal money earning siblings (one being Thomas E. Hughes) having earned more than $812,000. Lethal Playgun’s dam, Smart Letha, is Equistat #83 all-time leading dam and has paternal siblings with earnings in excess of over $9 million. Lethal Playgun was awarded his Performance ROM in 2005 and is a NDQHA Derby Money Earner. He is a proven producer of money earners in NCHA, NRHA, and NRCHA as well as AQHA point earners. He has also produced winners in barrel racing, roping, and open show events. He himself doesn’t have any earnings, but he did acquire some points in AQHA reining. The other names on “Lena’s” papers are just stacked with money earners!! Lena’s dam side is just as impressive and brings more of the older foundation bred athletes to her pedigree. What really attracted us to her on the bottom was Peponita. We have had 3 granddaughters of Peponita and really love what they have done for our program, so to be able to add another was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up! Her first foal 2019 Whiskey Up Zena JW, went to Illinois. Her 2021 foal, Whiskey Up Basil JW, is now deceased. Her 2022 foal by Walter O Rielly, Eel Drift JW, was sold. Her 2023 foal, Sandstone Drift JW, went to a ranching family in ID. Her 2024 bay c**t, Paddys Gin Ixion JW, is now in TX. Her 2025 bay c**t, Paddys Gin Sam JW, is also in TX with a different family.

Toto’s sire is TRR Paddys Texas Gin aka Tex. And his daughters, when bred to current barrel stallions are producint 1D and 2D barrel horses with other owners.

Toto should make a jam up cow horse. Whether in the arena roping, cowhorse events or on the ranch. She is a very feminine and sweet-looking filly. Tex is her sire so she could be 50/50 HERDA Carrier and will be tested.

Will be priced at one month of age (US)

Foal is eligible for the Iowa Quarter Horse Association Ranch Horse Futurity.

Our other stallions will have the names of Rock Bands from the 70s, 80s and 90s. This stallion is named ACDC. AC/DC is an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973. Their music has been variously described as hard rock, blues rock and heavy metal, although the band calls it simply "rock and roll". They are cited as a formative influence on the new wave of British heavy metal bands. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 and has sold over 200 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling artists of all time. Some of their most well-known songs are “Back in Black”, “Thunderstruck” and “You Shook Me All Night Long”.

‘ACDC’ is a bay stallion with no white on him. We bought his mama, Miss Sweet Baron aka Jam as a wonderful addition to our program. In the past we have had some nice older Two Eyed Jack/Pitzer bred mares that have niched really well with our Paddys Irish Whiskey stallions. With those mares aging we spent the fall of 2016 researching and searching for replacement females that we felt would really step in and complement our program and this filly’s dam is totally bred to the hilt in Two Eyed Jack, Red Baron Bell and Pitzer bred lines. We love the Blondys Dude on the bottom of her pedigree as well. Jam’s sire is Two ID Sweet Jack who was born in 1994. He himself was an AQHA World Show Qualifier four times and has shown in calf roping, heading and heeling. He is an AQHA Performance Champion, has his ROM and has 330.5 points. Sweet Jack is a son of two-time world champion Two ID Bartender making Miss Sweet Baron a granddaughter of both him and Mr Baron Red. Her first foal, 2017 Sweet Watch Chic was on our ranch and had a great first foal but both have since been sold! Her 2019 foal, Rajah Reed JW, went with a repeat buyer to Texas. Her 2020 foal, Paddys Gin Dallas JW, was with a repeat buyer but since sold to a family who loves him. Her 2021 foal, Paddys Gin Moss JW, went with a repeat customer in NV. We kept her 2022 filly, Paddys Gin Surf JW. Her 2023 filly, Paddys Gin Ruby JW, went to join her full brother in Iowa. 2024 red roan c**t, Paddys Gin Pluto JW, is with a repeat buyer in NE. Her 2025 bay roan stallion, Paddys Gin Bilbo JW went to repeat buyers too. This mare produces very well for us and her foals with Tex are a very consistent cross.

ACDC’s sire is TRR Paddys Texas Gin.

We would expect ACDC to have athletic ability with a nice disposition to perform in or out of the arena. We would expect him to mature out to 14.2-14.3 hands. Tex is his sire so he could be 50/50 HERDA Carrier so ACDC will be tested.
