Back in the 1970's we got interested in antique, or heirloom, apple varieties and put in a small orchard to preserve some of these old favorites. We now have about fifty apple varieties in the collection. (The oldest apple in the orchard is a variety called 'Lady Apple' which dates back to the 1500's in France. Some say it has been traced back to ancient times in Rome.) The varieties ripen from ea

rly September thru early November. Due to the whims of Nature, not all varieties produce apples each year, so each year's offering is sort of 'hit or miss'. We are a small operation and don't do much advertising, but if you have an interest in a particular old variety, check with us to see if its available. Most of our varieties are exceptional for eating and cooking, and if you have a cider press or fruit juicer, can be blended to make an unforgettable cider. Due to the size of our orchard, apple quantities may be limited. A list of all varieties grown can be found under the 'Menu' heading.
