Day 8 barn clean up and we came home w/ Jethro (this hardly happens) the buyer asked if she wanted him back. So we loaded him up and brought him home. He is in quarantine for a few days since being around other animals and all those people

Then we ended the 2026 fair week. At the pit to help Poppy and watch the Derby. Big shout out to the vendor who kept my dad’s belly full all week w/ yummy food(they do this every year) they even drove it up to him 🤭 I didn’t get a picture of that. To top it off he even got a whole pizza at the end of the night that was for the derby crew. This man is spoiled!

Day 6 was dairy day! Makaylee’s boyfriend Sam did great this year in showmanship and won the milk production award for best quality milk. As always I helped scoop ice cream provided by Mr and Mrs. McDonald. We served 300 people this year with this sweet treat.

Jethro and I also did the old timer show and I got my pickle pizza 😋
