I didn’t know a fourth baby could undo me in the best possible way. He is four months of proof that God’s timing is always better than mine. Bookend boys, a house full of noise, and a heart so full it’s almost too much. So grateful.

I want meals that feel steady.

A kitchen that doesn’t rush me.
Dinner on the table without tension.
Kids lingering instead of scattering.

Not because every day is easy.
But because ordinary days are where a home is shaped.

This is the kind of rhythm I’m choosing.
Slower. Gentler. Faithful in the everyday work of feeding my family.

If this sounds like the home you’re longing for, this space is for you.
Share this with another mom who feels it too.

We wrapped up a week of celebrating our girl turning NINE yesterday! From two trips to Birmingham, shopping sprees, a softball win, Build-A-Bear, Easter fun, and all the yummy food—Emma Kate’s birthday was full of everything she loves and everyone she adores.

She continues to amaze us with her joyful spirit, kind heart, and the confidence she carries into everything she does. Always singing, always helping—she’s Mommy’s biggest helper and a true light in our family.

We love you so much, sweet girl. What a gift it is to be your parents!

Kicked off 2025 with 13 books read in Q1! šŸ“šāœØ
This year, I set a goal to be more intentional with reading—36 books total—and this first quarter reminded me how life-giving it is to carve out time for the things that fill me up.

Reading has always been a favorite pastime, but as a mom, I’ve learned it won’t happen unless I make space for it. My Kindle has been the MVP—letting me read in the little moments: waiting at practices, reading before bed, and sometimes even in the chaos of real life with kids around.

Heavy on the romance, lighter on the nonfiction (still working on that šŸ˜‚), but I’m so proud of this start.

Here’s to more slow mornings, cozy nights, and turning the page in Q2. šŸ’›

Spring break 2025 — filled with the sweetest moments and memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Blue Ridge gave us everything we needed: hot tub hangs, s’mores by the fire, dinner at Black Sheep, rainy morning at the coffee shop, and strolls through our favorite little shops.

Then we swapped mountains for water slides and headed to Great Wolf Lodge with friends — splashing, sliding, laughing nonstop… and maybe a sunburn or two.

It was just what we needed.
Jam packed. Joyful. Full of connection and fun.
A reminder that the little things really are the big things.

I used to be cool, and honestly? I’m not even mad about it. The 30s have been my favorite decade yet—give me early mornings, home-cooked meals, and a slower pace any day.

Can you relate to any of these?

Loved this post idea from my friend šŸ«¶šŸ»

Balancing work, homeschool, and motherhood—one coffee at a time ā˜•ļø

Mornings start early around here. A little quiet work before the kids wake up, Bible study, and then straight into breakfast, read-alouds, and school. šŸ”šŸ“š

Somewhere in the middle of it all, we fit in chores, work blocks, snuggles, and lots of snack requests. šŸ˜… By the afternoon, it’s a mix of independent reading, outside play, and getting all the things done before the evening chaos hits—practices, Scouts, and small group.

It’s full. It’s messy. But I wouldn’t trade it.

Any other work-from-home mamas out there? How do you juggle it all? šŸ‘‡šŸ’¬

Evenings are my secret weapon for smoother mornings. šŸŒ™āœØ

By taking a few simple steps at night, I wake up feeling calm, prepared, and ready to take on the day—even if it’s just another day of snacks, laundry, and chasing kids. šŸ˜‰

In this post, I’m sharing my favorite evening habits that have made a big difference in my daily rhythm. These aren’t about perfection or doing all the things—just small, intentional steps that help me feel more grounded and less stressed.

🌟 Remember: Your routine doesn’t have to look like mine! Start with one habit that inspires you and build from there.

What’s one thing you love to include in your evening routine? I’d love to hear your ideas—let’s inspire each other! šŸ’›
