It is a beautiful morning in the Hegins Valley!

First we have sweet corn at 50 cents a cob. It is in the shed.

Second since this is Labor Day weekend there are some red, white and blue bouquets for sale in the shed if you don’t have time to pick your own.

First I want to thanks everyone who has come by the farm since we have been open!

Second, to help celebrate our nation’s 250th year of independence, I did some research and put together an informational sheet (PowerPoint) on what flowers could have been present during 1776 in people’s gardens. In the upper field I have put some flags (pictured) that are near the flowers that are mentioned in the sheet. So if you enjoy flowers and history please grab a sheet and check it out!

It is a beautiful day and the fields are now open! Flowers seem to be a little behind this year but the Zinnias are blooming in field by road. The upper fields have limited amaranth, gomphrena, statice and snapdragons. The first batch of Sunflowers are blooming too. Please stop in at shed for instructions. Please remember this is a farm within uneven terrain so dress accordingly and watch your step. Open 8:00 AM to dark.

Hello friends! Just an update from the farm. Flowers are in and growing. As long as they survive this heat 🥵 we are planning to open around the week of July 20th. Please keep an eye on this page for exact date.

Remember, if the “open” flag is not hanging on shed then we are not open!

All professional photographers need to reach out to me before coming to take pictures.
