🐝🌼 Today we celebrate the tiny pollinators that help our gardens bloom, our wildflowers thrive, and our tables stay full. Bees do so much more than make honey — they help sustain life all around us.

At Honeyflower Farm, we believe even small actions can make a big impact. Plant native flowers, skip harmful sprays when possible, support local beekeepers, and leave a little wild space for pollinators to call home. 🌿✨

Here’s to a world that blooms because of the bees. 💛🐝

From bloom to balm 🌼✨

Dandelion Salve! Made with slow-infused olive oil and beeswax rendered from our own bees, this herbal salve is perfect for dry skin, hardworking hands, rough patches, and everyday farm life.

Dandelion is known for its soothing, skin-loving properties and has been used for generations to help nourish dry, irritated skin. 💛🐝

It’s amazing how something most people call a w**d can become something so useful and beautiful.

Motherhood and farming have taught me the same lesson over and over again and that is that growth happens slowly, quietly, and right before your eyes before you even realize it.

Tonight at Mother’s Day dinner, my youngest was curled up asleep in my lap while my mind wandered to my oldest graduating in just two short years. One still fits perfectly in my arms, while the other is already stepping toward adulthood. And somehow, in the middle of all of it, I’m trying to hold onto this season just a little longer.

At the same time, our little farm is growing too. What started as small dreams, tiny seedlings, baby animals, and a simple idea has slowly turned into something bigger than we imagined. Row by row, season by season, it keeps growing. Just like our babies do.

Motherhood feels a lot like farming. You plant seeds, nurture them daily, pray over them, weather the hard seasons, and trust that all the little moments are turning into something beautiful. Some days the growth is obvious, and some days it feels invisible… until suddenly the babies are taller, the flowers are blooming, and the dreams you planted are standing right in front of you.

Tonight reminded me how beautiful these seasons really are… the sleepy cuddles, the growing independence, the messy middle, the laughter around the table, and the life we’re building together one day at a time.

To all the moms, stepmoms, grandmas, and mother figures, Happy Mother’s Day!! What you nurture matters more than you know. 💛

❄️🌱 A chilly night at Honeyflower Farm 🌱❄️

Spring may be here, but East Tennessee had other plans last night. With a frost advisory settling in, we tucked our young peppers in the best way we know how—our trusty little makeshift greenhouse.

These tender plants aren’t ready for cold nights just yet. Frost can nip them quick, so we do what farmers have always done—watch the skies, feel the air, and cover what needs protecting. It’s a quiet kind of work, done in the fading light, hoping you’ve done enough to carry them through till morning.

This is the rhythm of spring on the farm—warm days, cold surprises, and doing our best to help things grow. 🌿

Our irises are putting on a beautiful show right now 💜🌿

Every year I forget just how stunning they are until they all burst open at once—purple, soft whites, and deep velvety tones lighting up the farm like it knows exactly what it’s doing.

We’re still waiting on the rest of our flowers to wake up and do their thing, but for now… the irises are absolutely stealing the spotlight.

There’s something beautiful about this time of year… everything feels like it’s holding its breath, and then suddenly you get moments like this where the whole garden just shows off a little.

Spring is doing its slow magic 💐✨

He will also send you rain for the seed you sow… and the harvest will be plentiful.’ — Isaiah 30:23 🌧️🌱

Here at Honeyflower Farm 🌼 , we’re mighty thankful for the rain these past two evenings right after planting. We’ve got corn 🌽, potatoes 🥔, tomatoes 🍅, peppers 🌶️ watermelon 🍉, and flower 💐 seed and seedlings in the ground. Praying for a bountiful harvest— and plenty of honey 🐝🍯

Reposting this from our previous page to make sure it reaches more folks here—swarm season is here again, and the bees are on the move!

🚨🐝 Honeyflower Farm – Swarm Season PSA 🐝🚨

If you spot a large cluster of bees hanging from a tree, fence, house, or anywhere else—don’t panic 👇

👉 These bees are not aggressive
👉 They’re simply searching for a new home

❗ What they NEED: A beekeeper
❌ What they DON’T need:
• Bug spray
• A hose
• An exterminator
• Anything that could harm them

🐝 We’ll come get them!

📞 Call or text Honeyflower Farm: 865-313-5256

We’ll safely remove the swarm and give them a proper home.

🐝 Swarms are basically “homeless bees”—they’re usually calm since they’re not protecting a hive. Still, give them space and let an experienced beekeeper handle it.

🙏 Please share—this helps save bees and helps folks in our area know who to call!

Thanks for being here and supporting local. We’re glad to have you along for the journey. 🌼🍯🐝
