This lambing season looks much different than last year. We will have our sweet baby boy helping in the barn. Last year we were just trying to stay afloat while dealing with pregnancy sickness, having to lamb next to the house due to the power going out in the barn.
In a few days the barn will be rewired, getting the lambing pens set up, and ready for the first ewe to lamb.
Our Most Wanted ram did a great job covering all the ewes this summer. Our first Ewe due is a Dorset. She is the first sheep that Jaret and I got together. She was just the first of many that we have bought together. She had a a great little Dorset advantage wether last year who now is living the rest of his days as a lawn ornament.
I can’t wait to see what this year holds for us, and as always thank you to all those who have supported us over the years!
