☀️ End of Summer Food Service Program Wrap-Up ☀️

Our Summer Food Service Program wraps up on August 14th!

As of last week, we have served more than 70,000 meals to children and families throughout our community. Before the summer ends, we are on track to serve more than 83,000 meals, making this the second-highest number of meals ever served in a single summer in Helena!

We will be closed on July 2nd and 3rd this week, due to Independence day weekend, at all locations!

All multi day meal sites and sites that serve weekend meals will be available on Wednesday, July 1st

Meal services will go back to normal on Monday, July 6th.

Happy Monday!

Our FREE Summer Feeding Program has officially started today! If you haven't picked up meals for your children, there is still plenty time at our various locations.

Each child only needs to be registered once for the whole summer. If you need to change the pick up location, please email [email protected] , [email protected], or [email protected].

Only 1 and 1/2 more days of school left!! Which means summer is right around the corner and the Helena FREE Summer Meals program kicks of 1 week from today on Monday June 15th, at our various locations!

All kids age 1-18 qualify! Registration is REQUIRED for any child to receive meals and they only need to be signed up ONCE for the entire summer!

🌭We are in the middle of School BBQ season! 🍔

Our BBQ has been feeding Helena Public Schools for 19 years, serving 6,000–10,000 meals each spring. It’s a true community tradition.

😎 The BBQ itself weighs more than 2,000 pounds - including a lockable steel cage to protect the propane tanks which were stolen 8 years ago
📅 These events are so popular, schools book their BBQ dates over a year in advance
👏 More than 300,000+ pieces of meat have been grilled on our BBQ!
