🍎We've purchased 4,000 grown in Montana apples from for students and staff to partcipate in this year's Montana Crunch Off!
Montana Crunch Off is a state-wide event for students, teachers, farmers, community members, and local food enthusiasts to collectively bite into any locally grown or raised food. All Montanans are invited to join the annual Crunch Off! First, bite into a local food, then register your crunch at the link below. Montana is participating in the Mountain Plains Crunch Off along with Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming!

October's Harvest of the Month is Brassicas, and we're excited to share that we purchased 50 pounds of Montana-grown cauliflower for local fourth-grade students to taste!

Through our partnership with . Peter's Health, students receive monthly nutrition education lessons and opportunities to sample Montana-grown foods throughout the school year.

🥦 Brassicas are a family of vegetables that includes cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, kale, and kohlrabi. With more than 3,700 species, there's a lot to discover!

🌱 Robert Worthy and Helena Public Schools were recently featured by Montana Partnership to End Childhood Hunger as one of six schools across the state working alongside local producers, ranchers, and community partners to bring more Montana-grown food to students and help strengthen local food systems.

On Wednesday, September 23rd, wear yellow, thank a food service worker, and help bring fresh, quality food to Montana kids! In Helena, dine at QBODA and 10-15% of the day’s proceeds will be donated, or stop by The Union from 4-9 p.m. During Pour It Forward, $1 from every beverage sold will be donated to Montana Partnership to End Childhood Hunger .

☀️ End of Summer Food Service Program Wrap-Up ☀️

Our Summer Food Service Program wraps up on August 14th!

As of last week, we have served more than 70,000 meals to children and families throughout our community. Before the summer ends, we are on track to serve more than 83,000 meals, making this the second-highest number of meals ever served in a single summer in Helena!

We will be closed on July 2nd and 3rd this week, due to Independence day weekend, at all locations! All multi day meal s...

We will be closed on July 2nd and 3rd this week, due to Independence day weekend, at all locations!

All multi day meal sites and sites that serve weekend meals will be available on Wednesday, July 1st

Meal services will go back to normal on Monday, July 6th.
