Sustainable Country Gentlemen, LLC Sustainable Country Gentlemen are purveyors of local, pesticide and chemica freel produce, designers Chuck and Ed have a simple rule of life... KEEP IT SIMPLE.

It is our goal to keep our food simple by keeping it pesticide and chemical free. We keep what we sell and provide as simple as possible. We have culinary herbs and spices. We will be adding a line of home crafted soaps and soap products in 2012. The essence of what we are is pesticide and chemical free.

SCG.... 8/10..... Business decisions are not that tough to make once you scrape all the emotional baggage off of them. We have decided to suspend produce sales at the Farmstand effective immediately.
Sales simply don't warrant the time, effort, and investment. We will be suspending our operation until Pumpkin Season (which is coming faster than we might like). We have pre-orders that we will honor, as we promised.
The remaining stock at the produce stand is still available "Take What You Need... Pay What You Wish" as it is on many Tuesdays.

We have Large Tomatoes that we have sold all summer for only %1.00. These are the ones that make a complete Tomato Sandwich or one slice for a burger.
We also have some Large Green Bell Peppers. We have those for only $1.00 each as well.
We have cucumbers at 2/$1.00 and Kirby Pickles at 3/$1.00
On a limited basis, we have 25 lb boxes of Tomatoes for $20.00, and we have 1/4 bushels of Pickles for $20.00
We have our own farm fresh, unwashed eggs at just $5.00/dozen.
We have our own homemade Soaps at $7.00 bar. The soap is made from local ingredients including raw milk from Klein Farms Dairy and Creamery and rendered lard from local Lorah's Pig Farm.
Additionally, we have our own freeze-dried mushrooms. We have Blue Oyster, Pink Oyster, and Chestnut, among others. Mushrooms are only $4.00.

We are open from Dawn to Dusk
