While it's Monday folks, and that means it's time for another Thomas Township Farmers Market down at Roberts park. is out here, picking in the rain right now to bring you all those goodies that you expect from us. Don't let the rain stop you from coming on down. We're under the pavilion where you'll be nice and dry to do your shopping. Stop on buy or stand the stock up for the holiday on sweet. Well, kenning season is upon us. And even though our tomatoes are a little behind here at ChernowFarms, we have plenty of peppers to spice up those jars. You'll be putting away in the cupboard

We carry jalapenos Serrano's Cayenne's jumbo Cayenne's sweet banana and cherry bomb peppers. A lot of people have been asking about the heat of all of these peppers. Just a couple of news updates for all of our loyal customers. First, we wanna say thank you to everyone who came down to the Midland area Farmer's market yesterday. The pickup their produce, as always. We appreciate your business.
Second, for anybody, looking for us down at the himlock farmer's market. We no longer attend this market and have been told by many of our loyal customers from the area that they have been down there. Looking for us and people or market staff have not wanted to tell them where you can find us now.
But you can find us at the Thomas Township Farmers Market market on Mondays and the Midland Area Farmers Market (Michigan) on Wednesday and Saturday. And last but not least, we just want to give everyone a heads up that our watermelons are finally ready. We will be in the field, picking them today, and we will have them at our stand at the Midland farmers market this coming Saturday. So stop on by Chernow Farms table and pick up some sweet, delicious watermelons, seeded and seedless, and so much more. See you then.

At the farmer's markets, we get a lot of questions about our purple blackberry potatoes that we grow. So I thought I'd clear up some information for people that are curious, here at ChernowFarms, we work with Michigan State University farm extension, to grow these wonderful potatoes, and we just want to share some of the nutritional facts about them in case you wanted to know. High Antioxidants: They contain anthoc.yanins, the same natural pigments found in blackberries and blueberries, giving them two to three times the antioxidant power of white potatoes.

Heart Health: Regular intake helps improve cholesterol levels and lower blood pressure.

Vitamins and Minerals: A single serving provides a rich supply of vitamin C, potassium, and dietary fiber.

Reduced Inflammation: Plant compounds in the flesh fight free radicals and reduce cellular damage.

Thomas township drop whatever you're doing and head on down to the farmer's market located in Roberts park, that's right.
