My grandmother never once worried about her skin, her sleep, her gut, or her mental health.

Not because her life was easy - it wasn’t. But because the way she lived took care of all of it without her having to think about it.

The hard work was the exercise. The real food was the medicine. The early nights were the therapy. The community was the antidepressant.

Nobody sold her a solution because she didn’t have a problem yet.

We do. Because we modernised our way out of every natural system that kept people well for thousands of years and then built an entire industry to sell us back a pale imitation of what we threw away.

A cream for the skin that tallow used to fix. A pill for the sleep that darkness used to bring. A supplement for the minerals that real food used to contain. A therapist for the loneliness that a loving husband and 17 kids used to solve.

She didn’t need any of it. We need all of it. That should tell us something.

The old way wasn’t primitive. It was just honest. And quietly, a lot of us are realizing that the most radical thing you can do right now is live more like your grandmother did.

So we did it again..... we took in a momma with some babies. Mom needed a lot of medical care and the babies had to be bottle fed but they are all doing great and will be looking for homes in the next few weeks. Mom and babies will be vaccinated and have been wormed and will come with vet check and a puppy starter bag. I will be asking a rehoming fee just to cover vet expenses.
What kind are they well we are not for sure definitely heinz 57 lol mom is small/medium but we think pit/shar pei??? But your guess is as good as mine. Please reach out if you or someone you know is looking for their next partner in crime!

Today, our nation bows its head in collective sorrow as we receive the devastating news of three brave American service members who made the ultimate sacrifice during operations regarding Iran.

These warriors stepped forward to serve in a volatile region, fully aware of the dangers, yet driven by a commitment to protect our freedoms and our way of life. They gave their last full measure of devotion, standing the watch until the very end, and leaving a void in the ranks that can never be filled.

Our hearts are also heavy with prayer for the other service members who were wounded in this engagement and are currently fighting their own battles for recovery. We ask for healing hands upon them and strength for their bodies to mend. To the families of the fallen—the Gold Star families who have received the knock on the door that every military spouse and parent dreads—we offer our deepest, broken-hearted condolences.

There are no words sufficient to ease your pain, but please know that a grateful country mourns with you and stands beside you in this dark valley.

This tragedy serves as a stark, painful reminder that the price of liberty is often paid in blood and tears by the very best among us. These three heroes represent the pinnacle of courage and selflessness, and their names will be etched forever into the history of our nation’s defenders. We pledge to honor their legacy by remembering their sacrifice every single day.

Rest in peace, warriors; your mission is complete, and we have the watch from here.

These six boxes represent a half of a beef.
The hanging carcass half weight for this animal was 366 pounds.

My “boxed beef” is about 225 pounds.

If you were to purchase this half beef from me, your bill would have been $1943.80 TOTAL.

That includes me delivering the animal to the butcher, the animal, the processing, and these really amazing people boxing it up and loading it into your vehicle.

Well. That’s a lot of money, isn’t it?

Let’s break it down a bit.
You are getting:
Ground beef. You chose to have half of your half made strictly into ground beef.
The other quarter includes: brisket, roasts, stew meat, soup bones, ribeyes and T-bones.

Your Total/take home beef averages out to about $8.64 a pound as you put it into your freezer.

This half beef will cost you $37 a week over the next year, should your family of four stretch it that far.

If you eat at home OFTEN, this beef will cost you closer to $70 a week.

All consumers in this country are FREE to decide how to spend their hard earned dollars.

For my family? We cook at home. We eat at home.
It means that we choose beef, other animal proteins, and then fill in the rest with our grocery shopping. I know where I choose to put my hard earned dollars.

The key is deciding and knowing.
I won’t tell you what to do, but I will say this…..if you want to start choosing differently, you CAN. It all begins with knowing your values, your budget, and taking the time to put on your thinking cap.

I can help. Thousands of us stand at the ready to help you, should you want it.

Now…to find my muscles and start putting this away!!!!!
