A family owned small business, Brigitte and Matt Hendershot reopened this blueberry farm in 2014. It had been closed and dormant since 1988. Even though it required many hours of labor to restore each bush, clear all the rows, trim back the roads, dig a new pond, and so much more, it has been so rewarding watching the progress every year as we continue to make more improvements. ds Blueberries in Hemlock to pick luscious blueberries that store well in the freezer for up to a year or more. We will be open from Mid-July to Mid-August. In addition to blueberries, you can purchase ice cream made locally by Great Lakes Ice Cream, a variety of cookies, jams, maple syrup, local honey from the blueberry blossoms, blueberry pies, blueberry muffins, and blueberry donuts. Open 7 days a week 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM with u-pick for $2.25 per pound cash and $2.36 using a card for the 2024 season. If you don't have a container to take your home your berries, boxes will be available for $3.00 and bags are free. This business is only open to the public for picking during blueberry season. Our hours may change due to fruit quantity and ripeness. You can always call ahead to ensure we are open. Pre-picked berries are available for $6.75 a quart, $22.00 for a 5 pound box, and a 10 pound box starts at $42.00, credit cards will have an added fee. With over 15,000 bushes on 20 acres, there are plenty for all!

Our guest speaker Gale Moore, an experienced Michigan beekeeper and President of the Owosso Bee Club, will guide attendees through the basics of starting and managing a hive.
