These girls will be ready for new pastures soon. They are both a2/a2. They are pastured with Jr, a 15/16 mini jersey bull. He is a2/a2 and homozygous for polled. So their calves will be a2/a2 and polled. These girls are good brood cows and easy to manage, but are not pets. Please dm with any questions.

This handsome little guy is 26-J-34. He was calved Sunday. I forgot to post him. He is sired by Joseph and out of Jubilee. He is 11/16 mini jersey, 3/16 Lowline and 1/8 Guinea Pineywoods. He is polled. His a2 status will have to be tested. He is available as a bull or steer. Y’all have a nice day.

This morning Lynn and I tagged and pulled dna samples from the retained heifers. A few of them are old enough to go to the bull. Hopefully we can get them moved this coming week. Y’all have a nice weekend.

Today I have been working to get the sales page updated. All calves currently available are now listed. We have several nice bull calves, a few that could be steered, along with two mini jersey cross bottle calves. This cute little heifer was calved on 3/12/26.  She is sired by Joseph, our 7/8 mini jersey x 1/8 lowline bull.  She is out of Chris a lowline cross zebu cow.  So the calf is 7/16 mini jersey, 5/16 lowline and 1/4 zebu.  She is A2/A2 and polled by parentage. She should make a great little homest...

This handsome little guy was calved Tuesday. He is 26-J-33. He is sired by Joseph and out of Accalia, a Lowline x Guinea Pineywoods cow. He is a2/a2 and polled. He is 7/16 mini jersey, 5/16 Lowline and 1/4 Guinea Pineywoods. He will be a great little dual purpose homestead type bull. He is the beginning of Joseph’s last calf crop here.

We got almost 3.5” of rain the farm along with some hail yesterday evening. There are several trees down or limbs down, but somehow they all missed the fences. At least two spots overflowed the ditches and across the road. Water was high on the fences in several spots, but somehow it didn’t break this time. I am so thankful not to be out mending fences today. Seeing the glads and daylilies blooming this morning really brightened my day. Y’all have a blessed day.

We have 2 a2/a2 mini jersey cross bottle heifer calves available. 26-M-13 is the more red colored of the two in the pictures. 26-J-15 is the one with a grey tint to her. 26–J-15 wanted to play and wasn’t interested in posing for pictures. Both are sweethearts and will make great little homestead milk cows. Please dm with any questions.

This morning Lynn and I delivered 26-C-19 to her new home in Jacksonville, AL. She is the third calf to go to this farm in the last few years. I took deposits on two calves this week going to a new farm in Henagar that recently bought two others. In the next few weeks several calves will be going home. A South Poll cross bull will be going to Ball Play, AL to a farm that bought a mini jersey cross heifer earlier this year. 6 steers will be going to GA to a farm that has bought 6 steers from us before. 4 heifers will be going to farm in Gaylesville AL to a farm that has already bought 10 or 12 calves in the last two years. We have agreed to buy a 3/4 South Poll bull from a previous customer that has been a good friend for close to 20 years now. Lynn and I started LNL MiniFarm 32 years ago. All this to say, our stock speaks for itself, we are here before and after a sale to assist you. We can help you build the farm you are dreaming of.
