ok the hens don't know it's almost the shortest day of the year. They are laying 3-4 doz. a day. So if you need fresh brown eggs we have plenty.

Hatch Day. Nine chicks were a day early. Woke up to four more in the incubators this morning. Lots of the rest are piping and peeping. Hmm now where did I put those phone numbers of people who wanted chicks......

Three days till hatch day, about 70 of the 82 I set are looking good. Hmm maybe time for a bigger brooder.

Well, the last hatch went well, with 32 chicks in the brooder. I now have 82 eggs setting in 2 incubators. Hatch Day around the 28th. I think I have 20 of last hatch spoken for. yaah!!
