This weekend, while the taproom was pouring pints and serving up good times, our team was also out all across Henderson and the surrounding area.

From baseball games and golf tournaments to community celebrations and local events, it was truly all hands on deck.

One of the things we’re most proud of isn’t just the beer we brew—it’s being part of the community that supports us. Whether we’re behind the bar, volunteering, sponsoring events, setting up booths, or simply showing up to cheer people on, we’re grateful for every opportunity to be involved.

A huge thank you to our incredible team for representing Henderson Brew Co. all weekend long and to everyone who stopped by to say hello, grab a beer, or support the events happening around town.

Every one of our core beers has a little piece of Henderson history hidden in its name, and today we're shining the spotlight on Trixie's Alibi.

Long before it became a beer, Trixie's Alibi was a real place—and Trixie was a real person.

After traveling the country as a vaudeville dancer in the 1930s, Trixie returned home to Henderson and opened a tavern known as Trixie's Alibi in the 1950s along Highway 41 between Henderson and Evansville. It became known as a place for good times, great company, and a little carefree pleasure. Years later, the location would become the Black Horse Lounge, but Trixie's story remains a memorable part of local history.

Our Trixie's Alibi Bavarian Weizen pays tribute to that era. With classic notes of clove and banana from its traditional Bavarian yeast, this refreshing hefeweizen is the kind of beer that feels timeless—just like the story that inspired it.

Happy Birthday to one of the guys who keeps Henderson Brewing Co. running behind the scenes — David! 🎉🍻

While you may not see him pouring beers or working the floor every day, David plays a huge role in what happens here. As one of our founders and owners, he’s the numbers guy, keeping the books balanced and helping guide the business every step of the way.

When he’s not keeping us on track at Henderson Brewing Co., he’s also busy as the owner of Rockhouse on the River, another local favorite that helps make our community such a great place to gather.

We’re grateful for his leadership, hard work, and commitment to local business. Join us in wishing David a very happy birthday and an incredible year ahead!
