So I decided to smoke some brats again tonight, but kinda wanted to show how I do it on my Weber Smokey Mountain (or vertical smoker) using what’s called the “minion technique” I always use a chimney starter with a tumbleweed (straw dipped in paraffin wax) setup with a ring of coals with chunks on top, and once the coals are ready, fill the center of your coal set up and adjust the baffles until your temp is set. This technique is the closest to “set it and forget it” as you’ll get.

Hey yall…just a quick update. A lot of y’all visiting my page are probably here cause I made a comment on some funny video or cool music video on FB, and I think it’s rad you came here to check me out.

Long story short…I started out back in 2018 after 20+ years in the service and bar industry with some Firefighting sprinkled in and decided to follow my lifelong passion of slow smoked BBQ and make it a business.

I was doing pretty good until COVID came along and put a stop to it…add a bad breakup (11 years) into it and a 3 year trip to KY to clear my head…Ive been working to get back…

New smoker and new location in Las Vegas is what I’ve done…get ready for some really rad progress to be posted soon!! Thanks again to everyone that visited this page…get ready for some epic BBQ like you’ve never seen before.
