We have great news!!!!! We are all set up and ready to welcome you back to the blueberry patch!!!! 🫐🫐🫐🫐🫐🫐
This week, we will be open from 8am-6pm Friday and Saturday!!! We will then be closed for a few days and open back up again Wednesday next week.

The berries are berrilicious, as always!!! Yield goes in cycles, however, and this year will be lighter than last. Since there are still alot of green berries, we recommend lighter orders this weekend.

We are expecting to open in the next week so stay tuned!!!!! Hopefully the rain gives the berries a good little push because we want to make sure there's enough for everyone!
Until then, here's a throwback to the early years when we had to bend to pick!!! These two have grown up in the blueberry patch, and are still working every year! We are proud and excited to be a 3 generation farm!

That's a wrap on the 2021 season! Every year in farming is different, and this was one of the best! We enjoyed seeing all the familiar faces, and meeting plenty of new ones!!!! Several people commented that everyone seems happy at the patch - and that makes us happy too!!!

We have enjoyed seeing family and friends gathering together, kids excited to find "the big ones", sharing recipes and ideas of how to eat all the delicious berries, connecting people with where their food comes from, the sense of community, and hearing stories of where everyone is from.

Thank you for choosing our farm for your summer activities!!! Now it's time for us to move onto the next big things - there's always stuff to do on the farm!!! Until next year.....

Blueberries are EASY to freeze. A little rinse, then lay them out to dry and put them in the baggie. Then they are ready to pull out for the berrilicious taste of summer, even in the winter. They are GREAT for baking, pies, cobbler, pancakes, oatmeal, and even eating as a frozen treat!! It is still easy picking for the last week, to stock up the freezer!!!
