After 15 years of doing our own pruning, we have hired professionals this year to do a full cleanup. We are hauling out alot of old wood which will give us a cleaner patch with healthier, stronger bushes and bigger berries. We will see everyone in a few months!!! 🫐 🫐🫐🫐

It seems like we were just enjoying a break from the sun and heat under the blueberry tent, with buckets full of berries! However, fall is definitely in the air, and time to enjoy every sunny day, in case it's the last! This Saturday, enjoy all the Fall things at the North Street Nursery fall greenhouse market! Check out their Facebook for the long list of vendors. It will be a day full of local artisans and food! They also have all the things for your porch decorating, including DODGE FARM CORNSTALK BUNDLES, mums, pumpkins, and straw bales. I'll be set up as a craft vendor - come join the fun and shop local!!! Its not too early for Christmas shopping!!!

It's time to turn everything over to the birds. It always makes me sad to take it all down. Thank you to all of our blueberry friends, old and new, who made this such a great season! Think of these hot summer days while enjoying your blueberry pancakes and muffins this winter! We will see you in 11 months!

OFFICIAL LAST DAY WILL BE TOMORROW, Saturday the 9th.🫐🫐
There are still berries, but it's going to be hot....again. So, I will open from 9 am -11 am to get a couple of hours in while it's still cool enough.

Julia has her grandma's knack for finding the best blueberry recipes! This jam is so delicious - with crackers and cheese, charcuterie board, or just eat it by the spoon! She also put in some chopped up fresh basil leaves and used an immersion blender to get it nice and smooth.

This is a wonderful, slightly chunky jam made without Pectin. For a more intense Lemon Flavor, add an extra teaspoon of Lemon Rind to the recipe.

🫐🫐 The berries are getting smaller, but there are still plenty out there. (Smaller ones often wor better for muffins and pancakes!) Every one has still been finding them. We will open for a shorter day tomorrow 9am-2 pm.
