Taking a considerable break, which is much needed. I'm grateful for the support of a friend and neighbor who helped with milking for a couple of days. After returning, the focus will shift to canning, weeding, and creating a considerable amount of soap.

New hack. I made 18 hard boiled eggs each week. Easy snack! I always do the oldest egg, then I soak in cold water and when they are cool to the touch I peel them. This seems to be the easiest way to do fresh eggs that I have found.

Oops. I did it again! And I’m living the colors. Please be hens, please be hens!!! Please please please mostly hens. Also my new round incubator did amazing. After vacay I’m loading up quail eggs. Yes. Crazy goat lady is now crazy bird lady also!!
