It’s officially summer, and we’ve got a few new arrivals (and returning favorites) we’re really excited about this week.

Methodical’s seasonal “Feels Like Summer” coffee is here. Available only during the warmer months, this summertime blend is designed to shine whether you brew it hot or pour it over ice for an afternoon pick-me-up.

Solstice Handmade bandanas are back in stock! Beautiful and versatile, they are some of my personal favorites.

Abbiocco chef-crafted frozen pizzas are stocked in our freezer case. The word abbiocco describes that wonderfully content feeling after a great meal when you’re tempted to sink into the couch and call it a day. These pizzas will get you there.

And because every good summer day deserves dessert, we just received a big restock of Sunshine Sammies and Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches. Come see If your favorite flavor has returned!

When I asked Robert what he wanted for Father’s Day, his answer was pretty simple: a good steak and nice beer.

So this weekend we’re serving Steak & Eggs until 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. It comes with an 8 oz hanger steak cooked medium rare, eggs over easy, breakfast potatoes, and chimichurri, and it’s REALLY good.

We’re also pouring $5 draft beers in the cafe on Saturday and Sunday, and offering 10% off all packaged beer and cider in the market TODAY through Sunday.

Friday Favorites: Roots & Leaves 🌿

One of the things we love most at Ecusta Market is getting to share products with a story behind them, and Roots & Leaves is one of those brands.

Founded in 2017 by certified herbalist Haley Maness, Roots & Leaves grew out of Haley’s own journey through Lyme disease and mold illness. After years of searching for answers, she discovered the healing power of herbs and set out to create the kinds of products she wished she’d had during her own wellness journey.

Today, Roots & Leaves is a woman-owned, family-run company creating herbal wellness and clean skincare products in small batches using organic botanicals and thoughtfully sourced ingredients.

🐝 Sample It Saturday with Honeybee Bliss 🐝!

This Saturday from 2–4 PM, we’ll be welcoming Honeybee Bliss for an afternoon of honey tasting in Ecusta Market.

Pam and Randy Knowles have been caring for honeybees in the mountains of Western North Carolina for nearly two decades, producing raw, unfiltered honey along with some seriously unique creations like creamed honey and gourmet infused varieties. Their honey is harvested from organically managed hives in the Blue Ridge Mountains and bottled without heating or blending, so each jar reflects the season and the flowers the bees visited.

A reminder that Thursday mornings are for stroller club! See you on the trail. ✌️

What’s New Wednesday!

This week we’re shining a light on two Charlotte favorites that are quickly becoming favorites around here: Bear Food and Queen City Crunch.

If you’re putting together a Father’s Day gift, these are easy winners.

From Bear Food, we’ve stocked up on Gourmet Bear Mix, Butter Toasted Peanuts, Bourbon Toffee Popcorn, and Buttered Black Truffle Popcorn. Every flavor is fantastic.

And from Queen City Crunch, we’ve got The OG, their signature buttermilk Cajun pretzel. It’s savory and little spicy. It's also their best selling flavor!

We love bringing in products from North Carolina makers, especially when they’re this delicious.

One of my favorite parts of a new season is watching our team get excited about new drinks.

A recipe gets passed around.

Somebody tweaks it.

Somebody else has an opinion.

Five people taste it.

Ten more people have opinions.

Eventually we land on something everyone agrees is worth putting on the menu.

That’s how we ended up with blackberry lavender, lemon poppyseed, strawberry mint, toasted coconut caramel, peach thyme, and watermelon lime.

They’re all ready and waiting for you in the cafe, and I can’t wait to hear which one ends up being your favorite.

Friday Favorites 🍯

This week’s featured vendor is Honeybee Bliss right here in Hendersonville.

For more than 20 years, Pam and Randy Knowles have been caring for honeybees and sharing their passion for sustainable beekeeping with our community. Their love for bees shines through in everything they make, from raw seasonal honey and creamy whipped honey to gourmet honey infusions and propolis products.

One of the things we love most about carrying Honeybee Bliss is how dedicated Pam and Randy are to educating people about pollinators and the important role they play in our food system. After all, one out of every three bites of food we eat depends on pollinators.

We’re grateful to have Honeybee Bliss as part of our local vendor community and proud to share their products with our customers. Next time you’re in the market, be sure to check out their honey shelf and take a little piece of the hive home with you. 🐝🍯

We’ve got a really fun weekend of sampling lined up at Ecusta Market & Cafe and we can’t wait for y’all to try these!

On Saturday from 1pm to 3pm, we’ll be sampling St. Rains cannabis beverages. These sparkling THC drinks are made with real fruit juice, no added sugar, vegan, gluten free, and super approachable if you’ve been curious about cannabis beverages. Must be 21+ to sample.

Then Sunday from 10am to 12pm, we’ll have Matcha N**e in the shop sampling their beautiful organic matcha sourced from Kagoshima, Japan. It’s 100% pure matcha with no fillers or additives and such a clean, smooth energy boost.

Come spend a little time with us this weekend and discover a few new favorites 💛
