🍐 THAT’S A WRAP ON 2026! 🍐

And just like that, another season at Pilot Mountain Pears is in the books!

Despite the spring freezes and a much smaller crop this year, you all showed up in a BIG way. We were blown away by the number of families, familiar faces and first-time visitors who came out to pick pears, cut flowers, grab a fried pie and spend some time with us on the farm.

To our customers — THANK YOU for continuing to support our family farm. And to our staff who kept everything running through some incredibly busy weekends — we couldn’t have done it without you!

Now we turn our attention to 2027. 👀🍐

We’ve already got some NEW things planned for next year, some improvements around the farm, and a few surprises we’re not quite ready to share yet. We think 2027 is going to be a fun one!

🍐 ONE LAST DAY — TODAY IS OUR FINAL DAY OF 2026! 🍐

This is it! The gates open at 10 AM for ONE LAST DAY at Pilot Mountain Pears!

Spring freezes gave us a much smaller pear crop this year — and you all showed up in an incredible way. After another busy Saturday, we are down to the LAST of the 2026 crop!

There are still some pears hiding throughout the orchard, but fruit on the trees is VERY limited. Come take one last walk through the orchard and see what you can find!

Can’t find what you’re looking for outside? We’ll have a LIMITED SUPPLY of pre-picked Asian pears available for purchase in the store while supplies last.

And there’s still more to enjoy on our final day:

🍎 NEW THIS WEEKEND: APPLE PIE COOKIES! 🍪

We’re giving you a little SNEAK PEEK at something coming to the Pilot Mountain Pears menu next year… and you can try it THIS WEEKEND!

Introducing our homemade APPLE PIE COOKIE! 🍎🥧

Two fresh, soft sugar cookies are sandwiched around a layer of homemade applesauce, then the whole thing is coated in sweet, gooey caramel.

Think caramel apple meets homemade apple pie meets a soft sugar cookie. Yeah… it’s as good as it sounds.

The Apple Pie Cookie will officially join our menu next season, but we’re breaking out a special batch for our FINAL WEEKEND!

Stop by TODAY or TOMORROW and get an early taste before you have to wait until next year!

🍐 FINAL WEEKEND + PEAR JUICE IS BACK! 🧃

Good morning! We open at 10 AM today, and this is it — Friday the 18th, Saturday the 19th & Sunday the 20th will be the FINAL WEEKEND of our 2026 pear season!

And just in time for the final weekend — ASIAN PEAR JUICE IS BACK! 🍐🧃

It was a short season this year, so if you’ve been waiting to make one more trip to Pilot Mountain Pears, this is your last chance until next year!

For a small family farm here in Edneyville, that means a whole lot to us. Whether you’ve been coming to pick pears for years, just discovered us this season, or simply follow along from home, thank you for being here and supporting our farm.

🍐 *MAKE PLANS FOR ONE FINAL WEEKEND AT PILOT MOUNTAIN PEARS!

It was a short pear season this year, and it’s hard to believe we’re already saying this — this Friday, Saturday & Sunday will be our FINAL weekend of the 2026 season!

If you’ve been wanting to visit, make your weekend plans now because after Sunday, we’ll see you next year!

🧃 Pear juice, pear c***r & pear slushees will all be available! Stock up on your favorites or enjoy a slushee while you’re here.

🍐 A quick U-Pick update: Thanks to an incredible turnout, our orchard is nearing the end of its harvest. Pears can still be found, but U-Pick fruit will be much more limited than earlier in the season.** Because of that, orchard admission will be **HALF PRICE all weekend.

We’ll also have a limited amount of pre-picked Asian pears available — so if you want pears before next year, this is your weekend!

Our Asian pears have been putting on some serious size this season — and there are still plenty of pears waiting in the orchard. Then head over to the flower field and cut your own bouquet to take home!
