Happy Father’s Day to the man who started it all. ❤️🍎

Thirty-two years ago, Granddad had a dream of creating a place where families could gather, make memories, and enjoy life on the farm. Today, because of his hard work, vision, and faith, generations of families continue to make Grandad’s part of their traditions.

From planting trees and growing crops to teaching us the value of hard work and treating people like family, his impact reaches far beyond the orchard.

Thank you for the sacrifices you’ve made, the example you’ve set, and the legacy you’ve built.

We are proud to call you Dad, Granddad, and our farmer.

Yesterday was one for the books. 💜

We were not expecting the amount of people that showed up for Ginger’s Lavender Market, and honestly, I never left the kitchen long enough to see most of it. 😅

We sold through produce, watched lavender products fly off the shelves, and heard over and over how much our vendors loved the day.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our farm and the 33 amazing small businesses that joined us. Thank you to our staff who worked nonstop, Faithful Flames BBQ for keeping everyone fed, and our customers for being so kind and patient through the chaos.

But more than anything, we’re grateful.

Grateful for this community.
Grateful for the support.
Grateful for a farm full of smiling faces.

Join us Saturday for Ginger’s Lavender Market featuring 30+ local vendors, live music by Connor Hunt Duo, U-Pick lavender, soap making workshop, bakery treats, and a day full of community on the farm! 💜🐝

Many of you have asked, “Who is Ginger and why name a festival after her?”

Ginger was my grandmother. Her real name was Virginia, but my grandfather lovingly called her “Ginger,” and the nickname stuck.

She was a hardworking farm wife who spent her life supporting her family, helping wherever she was needed, and making people feel welcome. She never met a stranger and always had time for a conversation.

She also loved the color purple.

When my parents started Grandad’s Apples N’ Such, she was one of its biggest supporters. She believed in the dream from the very beginning and loved seeing families come to the farm to make memories together.

When I created Ginger’s Lavender Market, I wanted it to reflect the things she loved most—community, hospitality, supporting local businesses, and a whole lot of purple.

Every vendor, every bouquet of lavender, every family enjoying the farm, and every memory made during the market is a small tribute to the woman who inspired it all.

So while the signs may say “Ginger’s Lavender Market,” what we’re really celebrating is the legacy of a woman who taught us the value of hard work, kindness, and making everyone feel at home.

We think she would have loved seeing all of you here. 💜

💜 While everyone was enjoying live music by Edisto Gumbo, making soap, and picking their own lavender and flower bouquets this past weekend, our crew was hard at work behind the scenes planting a brand-new lavender field on the farm.

This new planting includes three of our favorite varieties:
🌿 Phenomenal
🌿 Sensational
🌿 Grosso

We’re excited to watch these plants grow over the coming months and can’t wait to see what blooms from them next year. Farming is always about looking ahead, and this new field is an investment in many lavender seasons to come.
