It’s Apple Festival weekend in Hendersonville! 🍎 If you’re headed downtown to enjoy all things apples, we’d love if you made a little time to stop by the farm stand, too!

We’ll have plenty of local honey and fresh sourdough baked goods waiting for you - the perfect things to take home after a day of apple picking and festival wandering.

Exciting news on the bakery side of things!

Here’s my “why” - mid dough prep love note courtesy of our 5 year old 🥹💗

This little bakery business has grown to provide enough for our family that as of next week, I’m taking a leap and halving my hours at my day job.

I love being a nurse, but nothing compares to being present with my kids in these young years and that’s the biggest blessing I could ask for. Baking gives me the freedom to prep early or bake late and spend the rest of my time teaching them, doing fun activities, and having lunchtime Forrest Frank dance parties in the kitchen 💃🏻😂

From the bottom of my heart, I want to give the biggest thank you to every single customer this past year. We are praying that weekly preorders continue strong as we transition to porch pickup for fall and winter, so we can stick to this sweet rhythm we’ve developed.

Some of our close friends lost their food truck, which is their main source of income, to a fire last night. If you’ve had their BBQ before you know it’s top notch and we want to support them in any way possible. I’ll put the link in the comments for their fundraiser if you’d like to support them also!

We are so excited to be returning to Bold Rock - Mills River for the Bee Bold Bee Fest this Saturday, 8/23! We’ll be set up with our honey and beeswax products from 11am-5pm along with many other vendors with bee-related items. On the bakery side we’re bringing some ✨brand new✨ items featuring our honey!! 💛🐝🍯

Looking like beautiful weather today for the farm stand. Also, we will have a few dozen fresh quail eggs available from friends of ours! See you from 2-5pm!

The farm stand will be open tomorrow, Sunday 8/16, from 2-5pm! We’ll have classic sourdough loaves, garlic & rosemary sourdough loaves, cookies, and Brookside Bee Company wildflower and sourwood honey available!
