It’s not about the barbecue. It’s not even about the beach or the beer or just another Monday off. Memorial Day is about those who paid the price for our freedom, those precious men and women who served and sacrificed. It is a day to reflect on the ultimate cost of everything that is America. From the first to fall in the making of this great nation (even before the Revolutionary War) and every loss of life since, the price of our freedom has been bought with the blood of those fearless souls who cared more about the future of this great nation than their own lives. They thought about the generations that would come after them and loved those of us that they would never meet enough to leave their loved ones as widows and orphans.

Things have been a little crazy trying to keep bottle lambs alive, and a deer crashed into the passenger side of my vehicle, causing so much damage that it's at the body shop for at least 2 weeks, getting a new door, new bumper, etc.
Despite my every effort my little Chester passed away he had something wrong with his little tummy and intestines.
This has been the hardest and most heartbreaking lambing season it truly makes me question going forward. My heart loves to be deeply involved. But that's a decision for another day. BUT...
Abby is going strong! She went from near death to a strong, healthy, sweet girl who is no longer hunched over skin and bones. That makes me feel a pinch better.
***For those who read my entire post I want to give those who have purchased lambs from me in the past a 1st pick of which lamb they'd like if they're interested in expanding this year. Please send me a private message and I'll send pictures
Once those that get 1st pick are done I will post pictures of the lambs that are left. Lambs will not be ready to go until probably August we leave them on Ewes as long as possible because it's easier on mom's and babies we believe you're getting healthier stronger lambs and less risk of mastitis- let nature do what nature does best. I will give our previous people until June 1st to decide.
Enjoy some pictures of Abby I'd be willing to give her a new home but can currently only think of 1 family i let her go to.
