My apologies if we’ve missed messages or have been slow to respond. We are out of commission for the foreseeable future, and have no extra time to cook or bother with the new state regulations.
I cannot adequately express how thankful I am for the support you’ve shown us over these last couple of years. I sincerely hope to feed you all again one day.

“For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy.”
Psalm 92:4 ESV
I apologize for the delayed update. Rhys is just over 6 weeks old now and things are going mostly well. He is up to 1 lb 12 oz. That seems big for him, but it’s crazy to think that Henry was bigger than that at birth.
Rhys still has his own room in the NICU. They moved him there when they were concerned about a contagious infection, though we are all now convinced that the culture was likely just contaminated. Weird, but he’s doing well now, so we’ll enjoy the semi-private room.
They have increased his feeds to 16mL every three hours and he is tolerating it well. Rhys also spent a couple days on a high velocity machine, an improvement from the CPAP/SiPAP that he had been on for breathing support. He did very well with it for a day or so, but then tired out and needed more support. Since then, he has been on CPAP and is doing very well with it.
Prayer Points:
-Little brother needs to grow.
-Pray for proper development of…everything!
-There are a couple other babies/families that need prayer as well. The Lord knows.
Mom crocheted some little hats for the NICU before Rhys was born. He ended up with one in his bed the other day, and it’s big on him!
