UPDATE Conifer Rd and HWY 75 at the railroad overpass.

The railroad is still waiting on the equipment needed for the repair and it is anticipated that they will have the necessary items by Tuesday of next week and will get on the repair. We are still a week or so away form the repairs being completed and the overpass (I-Beam) safe to travel under.

There will be concrete barriers in place to block the roadway until repairs are complete. We know this is an inconvenience but life safety is more important than saving a few minutes drive. The I-Beam isn’t completely stable and at risk of falling. That will crush your vehicle and injury anyone including possibly fatal consequences.

We will keep you updated.

Mill Iron Beef is set up at Henryetta Farmers Market.
We have our Grass fed rib eyes that are tenderized on sale for $15.00 per pound.
Corn fed ribs are on sale for $3.00 per pound all sizes.

We will be back at the Henryetta Farmers Market tomorrow, October 10th. Next weekend, if we do not get rained out, we will be in Stillwater at the Crossbrand Cowboy Church fall trade day.

This Saturday I will have a few of my applesauce cakes , banana buttermilk bread and fried pies. Still trying to decide flavors on the pies …🤔 What’s YOUR favorite??? Let me know in the comments!!

Hatched up peach , hatched up strawberry , and jalapeño jelly

Medium heat peppered jams:

Peach habanero, pineapple habanero,

Hot jams:

Peach jalapeño , Apple C***r Fire,

We are all set up in Okemah at the Hen House…We had a front row seat for the homecoming parade!!

Below are some pictures of what is available this evening and I heard that other vendors will be joining us tomorrow.

The Henhouse would be happy to serve you up a nice Friday evening dinner and then you can start some early Christmas shopping…😉

We have a busy fall schedule - Mark the dates on your calendar!!

If your finances are as tight as ours, its a good time to start picking up a Christmas gift along the way. FOOD is always a good gift- or party helper…

This week at the Hen House, I will have a few Applesauce Cakes with my jams, jellies and pickled goods. Also some banana buttermilk bread and pumpkin sourcream bread

Fried pie flavors are Pecan, Appleberry , Raisin with apples and walnuts , and Apricot.

I will have samples of my canned goods AND the applesauce cake ( which freezes really well too)

Looking forward to ( hopefully) a busy weekend!!
