I'm so thankful for him.

Joey built this stage wall and skirt( with shelves for the arrangements) , and added the preserved moss.

He makes every bit of it possible!

Coming off of wedding adrenaline is a real thing. 😂 Our team absolutely killed it! Pretty special considering it was our first FULL service wedding with our new company The Flower Society. I’ll do a whole other appreciation post on that, because they deserve it!

But today, I had to immediately switch gears back into farmer mode.

Although I was going through the motions of designing for this huge wedding, there was always a little part of my brain in the very back thinking, Please, Lord, don’t let the flowers bloom too early. Don’t let some sort of pest invasion happen while I’m away!!

I made sure to be proactive and cut down as much as possible, and every morning before I left for the venue, I took care of everything I knew needed to be handled.

So today, I’ve been out in the rain harvesting the flowers that don’t mind a little rain (in a poncho that was packed for the wedding that was supposed to get rain but didn't!! ) Praise!! 🙌🏼

And although my hands have been off the dahlias, apparently they’re saying, “Look, Ma. No hands. We’re doing just fine!”

I’m excited to be back in my groove this morning and ready for a day of rainy rest before getting back to a productive remainder of the week.

Back to farmer mode for a few weeks!

Designers, availability will be posted this week probably Tuesday so I can harvest the flowers that need to dry some first.

Maddie wanted a special design element from rehearsal to reception. Each segment and space was unique.
Her bouquet and bridal party selection was very modern and architectural , then for the ceremony and reception we subtly introduced natural garden elegance.

If you know the Smiths, then you know that big-game hunting is part of who they are. 🫎

From the very beginning, we had a specific design vision for each special part of their wedding weekend—and bringing that vision to life throughout every space was an absolute joy for my creative heart.

Over the past six months, I’ve had the privilege of meeting with the Smiths and their families frequently, thoughtfully refining every detail to ensure their aesthetic, their story, and the things they love were woven into the experience.

And this rehearsal dinner? Absolutely magical.

It was such a joy to create, and I’m incredibly blessed to have an amazing team of fellow designers who helped bring it all together.

This was only the beginning of an unforgettable wedding weekend. 🤍

Number one: it’s cool enough outside for me to wear leggings. 🙌🏻

Number two: It’s false fall, but I’m embracing it. The candles are lit, and I’m here for it! As long as it's above 60 and sunny!

And number three: Happy Friday, y’all! 🤎

The dahlias are coming in, and I’ve got lots of them bagged, some will be ready to cut possibly Sunday. Designers, I may have limited availability this week due to some prior commitments, but I’ll send an email letting you know exactly what I have available.
I will not be doing any retail orders this week. I’ll be off the farm Tuesday through Sunday for an event, so any designer orders placed will need to be delivered or picked up on Monday before I head out.
