Malocclusion genetics literature search in comments ⬇️

Recently read multiple posts from Rex breeders trying to understand Malocclusion inheritance by test breeding their herd. I love genetics, so I want to better understand malocclusion too, hopefully without experiments.

So in my “free” time I will log the search results in the comments. I’m staring with Pubmed …already found one that suggests different phenotypes and inheritance.

Added something new in chocolate to the barn recently, after a friend enabled me! 🤎🤍🤎🤍 Can you guess the breed?

I’m trying to learn more about marked breeds of rabbit. The best way to learn about a breed is to have it in your barn and raise/breed it.

And my wooly friends have taught me it is more fun to breed and show with friends. I would not have started this project otherwise.

Showed at Dalton GA this past weekend. Saw a rainbow on the way to the show, that seems to bring good luck! Broken chocolate senior rex buck was first in a large competitive class 3 of the 5 shows. Picked up a few variety legs on the senior chocolate rex doe LuLu. Chestnut Jersey Wooly buck won BoB a few times. Orange buck B1 was BoS once. I sent a molting Argente Brun buck just to help numbers, it was awesome to see Angel and show Bruns. Laughed a ton, ate well, and really enjoyed my traveling buddy Deidre! It was great to see everyone and meet new breeders.
p.s. brought home some more woolys and a tri rex buck!
