Saturday, October 10th, we learned a lot of facts about Reptiles!!
Unfortunately the weather kept a lot of you away from our meeting.
We didn't have any Reptiles show up for our meeting either so we had to go with the facts our leaders had gathered for our information.
A lot of you like snakes! And you knew that Reptiles are cold blooded. They need a heat source to survive.
Our next meeting is going to be about small mammals!
We would love to meet your hamster, guinea pig, ferret, mouse, or rabbit.

Today kicked off our first 4-H Small Animal Club meeting with 13 students and parents in attendance!
4-H Volunteer Dana McCart is leading our club along with her daughter, Adaline, a 4-H Teen Leader.
We had a Silkie hen and chick and a cockatiel in attendance!
I was running in several different directions and did not even have time to take any pictures!!
Our club will have reptiles at our next meeting.
Come learn about small animals and bring yours along if you have one!
Our next meeting will be on October 10th from 10 to 11.

Saturday we had our final Small Animal Club meeting of the school year.
Our most fabulous parent volunteer, Mrs Dana McCart, brought 2 young turkeys, a rooster and 2 hens.
We had cupcakes and drinks to celebrate the end of the year.
See you all in September and we will be starting a 4-H Poultry Club next year!
