Now through February 15th, we are having a summer CSA share sale! Get the 20 week 2025 summer shares for 2024 prices! $720 gets you weekly, home-delivered shares from June through mid-October: As always, you can also donate
--Cover our extended mileage with home to home delivery: $20.
--Elsewhere Farm Capital Investment Fund (goes to long-term physical improvements):$20 to $100
--Donation for subsidized shares for those in need: $20 to $50
Greens: You’ll get a bag of salad mix, a head of lettuce, or a bouquet of braising greens every week
Fruit: apples, fruit preserves, strawberries, raspberries, saskatoons, currants, elderberries, cider, pears, and other organically-grown fruits in season.
Veggies: beans, beets, broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, garlic, kohlrabi, leeks, onions, peas, potatoes, radishes, summer squash, winter squash, tomatoes, and turnips. As weather permits.
Other Treats: You can also relish fresh herbs, sprouts, eggs from our own farm (raised with 100% organic grain and on full pasture!), and occasional pickled products.
CSA members have made a significant contribution to our farm's resilience over the years, and I am proud to say that we are now in a better position than ever before to handle frostdroughtfloodshailwindssnowsmokebugsdisease and probably a lot else I haven't even thought of. I am so grateful to everyone.
The share prices will go up for the 2025 season... I was just doing my seed order, and seeds alone have tripled in price in the last two years (and I continue to redesign the farm so we can save more and more of our own seed!). So sign up now to get the best deal!
Some upcoming highlights of the 2025 season:
-- we are trialing hot peppers this year!
--we will continue to partner with Abby at Suri Fina for some June produce, late summer tomatoes, and sprouts throughout the season.
--we are replacing the loss of Happy Hollow Creamery with more veggies and fruit
--we will continue to have eggs in most deliveries
--we are continuing to expand our potatoes, so if we can manage the water this season (drought wiped out our crop last year) we hope to get potatoes into the summer shares
Happy New Year!
