Meet Flyte!

Flyte stopped by Wags & Wine with her mom and quickly discovered one of the most important sections of the store... the treat wall. 🍪🐶

After carefully inspecting the selection (and possibly plotting how to sample every flavor), Flyte proved she takes his snack research very seriously.

With those gorgeous markings and sweet personality, she was an easy choice for this week's featured pup.

🐾☀️ Rupert finally has a new place to hang out... and he's willing to share it.

Join us Saturday, June 13th, for the Grand Opening of the Wags & Wine Patio! 🍷🧀

We'll have:
✨ Wine tastings
🧀 Cheese pairings
🐶 Pups welcome
☀️ Plenty of fresh Lake Superior air

The patio will be open all summer long during store hours, giving you a place to sit back, enjoy your wine, snacks, and treats, meet new friends, and soak up the best part of a Northwoods summer.

We'll also be hosting future tastings and special events throughout the season, so this is just the beginning.

Stop by, grab your favorite bottle, bring your pup, and stay awhile. We have a feeling this is going to become one of Herbster's favorite summer hangouts. 💛

Summer just got a little more convenient at Wags and Wine! ☀️🍷🔥

Rupert has checked the clock, put on his very official propane pants, and made two important announcements:

1. We’re now open Wednesdays through Sundays for the summer!
More days to stock up on wine, THC beverages, snacks, gifts, and all the little vacation essentials that make life better.

2. We can now refill propane tanks!
Bring us your 20-40 lb propane cylinders and we’ll get you topped off for grilling, campfires, RV adventures, and all your summer flame-based food wizardry.
Stop by during shop hours, say hi to Rupert, and leave with the makings of a very solid summer evening.

Our Pup of the Week

Thor stopped by Wags and Wine during a mini getaway with his mom, and he quickly won everyone over with those soft eyes, that big smile, and the sweetest personality!

After making his rounds and collecting plenty of admiration, Thor picked out a fun squeaky toy to take home as a souvenir from his adventure.

We're pretty sure those heart-melting eyes helped him get exactly what he wanted.

This is the wine equivalent of hearing:
“wanna take the boat out?”

These little cans are pure Northwoods summer energy:
cooler packed ✔️
toes in the lake ✔️
dog absolutely soaked for no reason ✔️

🧀 CHEESE PAIRING
Hidden Springs Farmstead Feta
Salty feta + cold canned wine = elite dock snack combo.

The bright, creamy feta makes these wines feel extra crisp while somehow convincing everyone they’re “just having a light snack” before accidentally eating the entire cheese board.

🍪 CRACKER PAIRING
The Sourdough Project Sea Salt Crackers
These are the “one more handful” crackers.

Simple, crunchy, salty, and dangerously easy to snack on while floating around the pontoon pretending someone else is keeping track of the sunscreen.

🍫 CHOCOLATE PAIRING
Surfer’s Dark Seas Chocolate
This pairing feels like summer vacation.

Sea salt. Dark chocolate. Beachy vibes.
The slightly richer chocolate balances the playful fruitiness of the wines without making the whole pairing feel heavy in the heat.

This wine belongs beside:

Muffin is our Pup of the Week and showed up with a smile so big it could probably power the whole shop. 🤎

This happy guy has nonstop adventure energy and looks like he’s always two seconds away from leading a hiking trip through the Northwoods.

🌸 SOCIAL CREATURE ROSADO 🌸
Floral • herbal • blood orange • picnic wine

This rosé feels like Memorial Weekend in the Northwoods.
The trees are green again. The patios are full. And we are all ready to shake off any lasting hibernation feelings.

🧀 Fontina Herbes de Provence
Creamy, herbal, bright, and ridiculously good with the rosé. The herbs pull out all the savory/floral notes in the wine without making anything feel heavy.

🍪 Effie’s Almond Biscuits
Buttery almond + cardamom + rosé = elite picnic snack behavior.

🍫 Mecha “Hello Spring” Chocolates
Lemon curd. Lavender vanilla. Strawberry balsamic. Honey thyme caramel.
Basically the flavor profile of late May in a chocolate box.

🐾 Dog Pairing
Snuffle toys, patio naps, and dogs supervising the snack board while everyone says:
“okay ONE more glass.”

This one is part Wisconsin-grown too, which somehow makes it feel even more right for a long holiday weekend up the shore.

Our pup of the week!
Kain always knew how to pick out the best squeaker in a toy. He was a gentle giant with a big soft heart for everyone he encountered.
We were so lucky to have gotten to have Kain grace the store and pick out one of his last favorite toys.
We cherish your memory furever and you will always have a special place in our hearts with all of us at Wags and Wine. 🩵
