Started this batch over a month ago. 5lbs. of Jalapeno table salt smoked with hickory for 8hrs. Going to take half of this and add garlic to it.

I used some of my "dirty" ghost pepper salt to make up a quart of "fire sticks"... they are asparagus spears that we grew in our garden that I pickled. They still have great crunch! And they are sooo spicy!!!
The pint jar is pickled dilly beans that also used the ghost pepper salt among other ingredients. They also are still crunchy and just a little milder than the fire sticks.
We were invited to a gathering on Monday and we will be sharing these with them.
