BIG day for the Joneses! 🎉 Suzie dropped off a check to Stephen Smith & his team at the MVEDD / Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council to pay off a bridge loan they recently provided.

When small businesses like us are fortunate enough to win grant funding, we must *first* spend the money, complete the project, and then apply for reimbursement. How does a small biz spend money it doesn’t have?!?

Enter the MVEDD / Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council who (amongst other services) offers bridge loans for grant winners just like us. With a low interest rate and helpful staff, getting the money lined up turned out to be the easiest part of our project! 😅

Thanks also to Ntnl Assn of State Dpts of Ag for coordinating the program and for making our project a success!

Now, on to making MORE cheese! 🎉

THANK YOU to everyone that popped by our booth at yesterday’s Little Falls Cheese Fest festival! It was simply the best day filled with happy people, delicious NYS foods, and live music. ❤️

We couldn’t have done it without our amazing team—Sara, Olivia, Nat, Dan, Margaret, and Harper!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for putting the *family* in this lil family farm! ❤️

Thank you to the LFCF organizers that make this festival better, year after year! A special thanks to David Dardzinski who very quickly helped us in a (generator) pinch! 😅

Last but not least, a million thanks to Tim Rand Art for his original work of art that provided the theme and backdrop to this year’s festival. His artwork set the tone for this year’s event, stating loudly and clearly that we support real people doing the real work of making artisan products. That is what yesterday was all about. Our hearts are bursting! ❤️

If you’d like to see Tim’s original oil painting, visit our farm store where it will hang for at least a little while. We’re extremely proud to have commissioned the painting & will enjoy it for years to come! ❤️
