Before life gets hectic today I want everyone to get excited!! The Veggie Van will be at the Frankfort Farmers Market this Saturday from 9am- noon! Fully stocked and loaded with produce and other local goodies! As many know our farm “West End Farm” has been Cornell Cooperative Extension Herkimer County contracted farmer for 3 seasons now! We can’t express how important the community is to us! We don’t like to see people/families struggle! Many know some don’t, when we first started growing our little stand at the road we had an IOU system, but then we grew! Because of all of you! So our stand turned into funds that create boxes for families or just extras that can be stocked into community fridges, pantries, or just even those small pumpkins to give to children that make them smile big! It all makes it worth the hectic schedules!! BUT back to my point!! Food security is always top priority! So please stop by the Veggie Van at the Frankfort Farmers Market this Saturday! We will be handing out our farm bucks with your purchase to make your food dollars stretch! There is no expiration date. You can always give to someone you feel might need it more! We encourage you to grab up a Veggie Van schedule and stop by to any of the locations, but you are free to use the coupon where ever West End may be! There is a limited a supply so the sooner the better!

Due to the threat of severe weather, the Veggie Van will be canceling Suzy Q’s today! We are sorry for any inconvenience! Everyone’s safety is always our top priority!

Thank you Sugar & Milk for taking such good care of me yesterday!! I appreciate you guys so much! Our farm was in 3 different locations yesterday and I decided to go solo! You kept me happy and hydrated with out hesitation and with a smile! Huge air hugs!! I can’t thank you enough!

I definitely miss our random kids running around visiting during markets! The smiles and stories!!! Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Frankfort Farmers Market!! Your support meant so much to all of us! And a huge shout out to Sugar & Milk for getting us all down there and providing us with delicious beverages! And for letting your sweet daughter hang out!! She was definitely my favorite visitor!!!
Don’t forget to follow all of us to see where we may end up next! Please continue to stop by the market! Even if our farm cannot make it, we will make sure product is there for your needs, but you can also stop by the Veggie Van Monday 8/24 from 4-7 by the library (community garden) for your in between needs!
