I'm thankful to be workin with a workin dog. I think today we have come to an understanding on which direction is which.

Suli is pretty sensitive 🥺 and he is taking a bit of encouragement to move in the right direction. Oh to begin again...

November 1, kicks off the month of thankfulness!!! And what a way to start... look at this little gem. Get ready to follow the dream.

Today i went to the sweetest little farm in the area i grew up. Dad met me to make sure she would be secure coming home, and i made the jont back over the mountain this afternoon.

There was just a little sprinkler on the way over. She unloaded very nicely. It is supposed to rain 🌧 for the next several days. Timing always makes me crazy, so glad it's over the mountain now, so for the winter we can do some jujjing up.

It's fun to spin even if you have a few minutes. Some more picts from Flock and Fiber. At the end we get a little silly and start puttin on all the wool and spinnin all the fluff.

So normally orange isn't even on my radar, but i think i could get into this. I've turned all my batts into 1 oz dreams for gradient or fractal yarns. This is going to be soooo fun to pick and choose the colors.

I can't wait to put together a colorwork in a continuous yarn...

Ohhh the fun i am having over here dying batts. I am always thinking about fun ways to spin up exactly what you want. Imagine your own fractal or gradient spin, by choosing in 1oz just the color combo you want. Then even enhance that spin with a bit of bunny. Oh my the possibilities.

I can't wait to share the fun we can have.

I love fixing!!! Wool is a treasure. This was a free Yard Sale find that i picked up for the soul purpose of using and abusing(chores, camping, ect.) I didn't expect to enjoy it sooo much. So of course I am happy to mend it, for even more life.

I think life is like this sometimes. It is worth while to fix some things to last longer.

Check out this little gem from a yard sale. I have been loosely perusing for a table loom for a while and I am soooo tickled to find this Nilus Leclerc 8 shaft that still needed put together. The cog for the front beam was broken, but i have a dad that specializes in fixing things... so here we are almost ready for towels and other beautiful things.

It's the first day of SeptemBer!!! Happy Labor Day!

This is a great time to start learn something fun yourself, while the kids head back to school. I didn't know I loved to learn till I got to create "purplesful" projects with natural materials. If you are stuck or need some ideas, i would love to help out!! Message me your dream project. I'd love to set up a session just for you. Some days just have that blue funk feel, but God is good and I've decided to let go this evening and spin. I do find keeping it basic and creating something beautiful helps finish the day on a good note.

Do you like to do color work? A bit of angora helps in the softening of colorwork. It gives the stitches a less rigid definition, and blends colors into each other a bit more.

Mischievous Marsh is the subtle green that can go many directions. I think it would be fun on a blue base. What base would you pick?

Merry Minty might be just the best summer color, but i think it can be winter wonderful too. Remember Angora is perfect for winter. So spin now for your winter pleasure.
