Up until I photographed these bouquets this morning, I think I’d been a little in denial that Fall is right around the corner. Sure, it’s been cooler in the mornings and we’ve had some beautiful chilly nights lately, but my brain has still been in full-on summer mode. I suppose the flowers think differently. So here we are: the first Fall bouquets of the season, dropped at D'Onofrio's Food Center today 🍂💐

August flowers are always spectacular, and I’m absolutely delighted to share them with my Monthly subscribers today! It’s an especially exciting day though because it’s the first time we’re doing a subscription pickup in the brand new studio. Welcome to The Studio at McCullough Flower Farm. It’s lisianthus season 💜💖 These long-lasting flowers are shaped like roses, but have no thorns. We grew lots this year, and right now is their time to shine.

This morning we dropped off a fresh batch of bouquets loaded with lisianthus at D'Onofrio's Food Center 💐 Enjoy your weekend 💐

A beautiful selection of summer bouquets has landed at D'Onofrio's Food Center on this Monday morning 💐☀️

A few of the bouquets include the very first dahlias we’re sending out into the world this year! 🤍🌸

I love this pic of the bouquets staged in my studio before being loaded up. The charming painting leaning against the wall is one of many created by my Grandma Mary Lou back in the late 90s, and the frame was built by my grandpa. Thanks to some detective work from my mom, it’s right here where it’s supposed to be. Long story short, my grandparents’ former home is being sold, and my mom noticed the painting hanging on the wall in the online listing. She reached out to the realtor, and the current owners kindly gave it to us yesterday. We are so grateful to have this painting back with our family and I can’t wait to hang it in the studio 🖼️💖

This morning we loaded up D'Onofrio's Food Center with these bright bouquets. I’m loving the hot pink, orange, and gold for summer! 💖🧡💛

We restock D’Onofrio’s every Thursday morning, and as needed throughout the week. Thank you so much for your support of the flower farm and our favorite local grocery store 💐

🍋🌸🍊 When the invitations are decorated with citrus and say “she found her main squeeze,” these are the flowers that you make for the event 🍊🌸🍋

I absolutely love how these vases turned out! To learn our method for putting together a beautiful vase of flowers, join us next week at DJ’s Greenhouse for a special Flower Arranging Workshop. I’ll demonstrate how we do it, you’ll arrange your own vase to take home, and we’ll talk all about why local flowers are simply the best, especially this time of year.

Our Flower Arrangement Workshop at DJ's Greenhouse is just a week away! I will demonstrate how we make vase arrangements here at the farm, and each participant will make their own to take home. We’ll discuss the beauty and benefit of local flowers, how and where to source them, and how to care for fresh cut blooms so they last as long as possible. This class is held in the air conditioned workspace at DJ’s Greenhouse. Space is limited. I hope you will join us! 💐
