Interesting numbers on pork..

Our pig was close to 320lb live weight. I did *not* record final weights cause it's mine, not a customer. I also packaged for my family of 5, so fewer bags but same overall weight.
So, 320 live, around 220 carcass weight.

Of that, I deboned every cut except the Boston butts.

He yielded-
9 packs of pork chops (5 to a pack)
17 packs of pork steaks from the hams (5-6 per pack)
2 tenderloin
6 packs of stew meat (1.5lb packs)
(2) 15lb pork butts
54 packs of sausage (1-1.25 lb each)
(2) sides of belly for bacon (about 10-15lb each)

Honey done a wonderful job laying down and having 7 on her own! No assistance needed and she is being an excellent mother!

Any interest in fresh pork? I have a sow needing to go. You can buy outright for your own slaughter ($300), or I can process at the shop I work for. This would be best for sausage, as she is 2.5 years. She is LARGE, around 500lb, so there would be a ton of meat!

Also willing to do custom blend sausage. Minimum 20lb per order this way. I will need at least 150lb ordered this way total. Flavors available:
Plain ($3/lb)
Mild ($4/lb)
Medium ($4/lb)
Hot ($4/lb)
Extra Sage on Any Flavor ($5/lb)
Chorizo ($5/lb)
