Oh man, this young doe just keeps getting better! I am absolutely in awe! She finished last year as an intermediate kid but I am bringing her out for a spin in the ring at our county fair(purely for a refresher in proper show behavior, lol). We were able to fit in a quick photo shoot as well, which was very overdue.

Mountain Dream MG Zinnia was Reserve Champion Junior at Red River Valley Fair under judge Jay Rudolph. She is pictured here at the Goats On Parade show, her first time being set up. Zinnia is a mini version of her dam Iris with her sire Mardi's blue eyes and wattles thrown in as a bonus. She has really nice feet and legs, and plenty of width for a young doe. I'm hoping as she gains confidence walking on the collar, she will also show herself better for pictures 🤞

Mountain Dream RHF Luana got her restricted leg back in May, but she has continued to mature beautifully and I thought it was time to update her pictures.
I really appreciate her strong set of feet and legs, her front end assembly, and her substance of bone while remaining open and angular throughout. I of course also love her sweet, easy going personality which is similar to her dam Lebop. She will be bred to Redwood Hills Forte Benefit in the fall for mid-late March kids.

Mountain Dream BL Morena earned her dry leg in the very first ring she ever walked into!
She is another gorgeous daughter of Carl B's SWZ Maybelline 1*M AR VEEV88 2X JGCH, making her a maternal sister to Mountain Dream Beauty Unveiled 1xJGCH, 13th place Sr yearling at 2025 Nationals, and ANDDGA All American Jr doe.
Her sire is CH We Goat It Nyx Brave Legacy VVE88 BIS & ANDDGA All American Buck.

I'm quite excited to see how she continues to mature, and if she does what her sisters have, she will only get better with time!

Oh my, this buck holds a special spot in my heart that I was not necessarily expecting. However, when he showed up being a giant teddy bear and so handsome, I was done for, lol!
That aside, Benefit is exactly what I wanted and was looking for in my first alpine herdsire purchase. He is so upstanding, long, angular and stands on a strong set of feet and legs. His dam, Redwood Hills Reward Blitz 14*M VEEE89(2yr FF) caught my eye immediately at the start of my search, then I saw Redwood Hills Beau Fiona 8*M EEEE93. I knew I wanted those does to be in the foundation of my herd. I figured it would be atleast a year before I could get my hands on a son of either of them. Then, as I was about to put a reservation in, I see that a buck kid was available. His dam was Blitz! His sire Redwood Hills Beau Forte, the littermate brother to Fiona!!! 🥰 It was already perfect. Then the pictures came and he was sundgau which happens to be one of my favorite colors!!! I really feel this was meant to be, and I feel so blessed that he is mine! I am beyond excited for what his future will bring 💕

Mountain Dream RHF Seraphina was 2x Reserve Junior Champion under judges Tom Considine and Morgan Allen at the WDGA Goats On Parade show the end of June.
All my alpine kids are in the middle of some wonky growth spurts and definitely don't look their best, but I know they'll get there. I'm looking forward to getting them back in the ring at the last two shows when they have themselves pulled together a bit more 🙂
