Did some preweaning vaccinations today and picked the bulls for the bull pen. We cut deep on the bulls so you had to be really good to stay. The rest of the calves will be weaned later this month and sell at Platte Livestock in Platte, SD, on Sept. 23.

It has been a big couple of months for our family. Carl, the C in CJ&L, married the love of his life, Hannah Maude in April. And today we graduated the assistant herd manager, Jayden Carrier, from Chadron State University. She begins work as deputy clerk of courts in Rapid City on June 1. One more graduation next weekend for Clayton Maude as he graduates from Custer High School.
