It has been a big couple of months for our family. Carl, the C in CJ&L, married the love of his life, Hannah Maude in April. And today we graduated the assistant herd manager, Jayden Carrier, from Chadron State University. She begins work as deputy clerk of courts in Rapid City on June 1. One more graduation next weekend for Clayton Maude as he graduates from Custer High School.

Nice weather to put the bred heifers through the chute for their first ScourGuard vaccination and some lice control. Took a little time to work with the fall calves. They handled some petting and back scratches without too much trouble.

Thank you to our customers for their continued support of our program. We sold 17 out of 18 for one of our highest sale averages to-date. It was a good day.
