A few late pictures from the abstract art part of our “Of Thought and Emotion” class! Many times, abstract art is meant to evoke or convey an emotion, instead of representing a specific item, place, etc. This emotion can be represented by colors, shapes, jagged or curving lines. How do these artists’ works make you feel?

Brushless Botanicals, is September 19th!

We need to have this one earlier in the day because one of the activities is making sun prints! (I ❤️ these!) SO… if you’d like to come please comment what time works. Latest probably would be 2pm, for optimal developing time.

Our art class for grownups was absolutely fantastic!! They came in, ate snacks, commented on how they couldn’t draw, and then produced beautiful artwork!! They all worked so hard on the Georgia O’Keeffe inspired florals, that we are having to meet a second night to complete the abstract art! What a fun group! If you missed this, you NEED to plan to attend another one soon! Enjoy the process through our pictures!

After compiling all of your responses, our FIRST adult class will be Thursday, August 20th at 6pm! The class, Of Thought and Emotion, will include an art piece modeled after Georgia O’Keeffe (thought), and one abstract piece(emotion). These have been hits in past classes, so we’re kicking off the adult classes by featuring favorites!

You don’t have to be an artist to be successful here! Just come open to be creative! Everyone gets a discount for our first class, so the fee is just $35!
